I saw this last week (the article) and I really want to get ahold of it , problem is I heard it will just be at Founders, which will make it hard..

Not only will it be exclusive to Bell's General Store but more than likely the release won't be announced in any way, shape or form. They do these 750's for the locals.

Took them around a month to release Black Note after the label approval. So if its the same time frame, should be a few more weeks.

Anyone know if they generally put a bottle limit for purchase on the limited releases?

    2 per person typically...
and it took 5 months from Black Note's label approval until its release... maybe even 6

The only 2 bottle limit I saw was on Black Note. I wasn't limited on any of the other 750ml releases.

So, we could be waiting until late summer for this to be available rather than the end of this month/early next month. Bummer!! :slight_frown:

I wonder how this compares to the Cherry BCBS. Since I probably won't get my hands on this, if someone does get one when it comes out, please keep me in mind. I will happily pay to be able to compare.

You mean to say that Bell's Bourbon Barrel Cherry Stout is not going to be barrel aged? Your source my friend... is incorrect

Cherry BCBS I think is way better and I'm not a huge fan of either one. Last I had the Bell's BA cherry stout I just couldn't finish it. What they should finally bottle is BA Expedition!

This is going to be a pretty anticipated release so I am sure it will be limited. Hope to find out and then drive there with the wife. Sad to say I have never been to Bell's, much less for a release, but when they do a release like this do they normally have the beer on tap as well?

Wedding Ale, Mead and Wild One all had bottle limits with their original releases as well others may have been too but I cannot recall off hand. The second releases have not been limited. This one will certainly be limited as well.

Yeah my memory fails me. After awhile they allowed more for Wild One and Mead or maybe it was the wink I gave, that allowed me a few extra.
