    Should I be concerned that Expedition is not on that returning favorites list?

    Who needs or wants 16 ounces of Hopslam? Not me. 6x12 ounces is a far better format for a beer that high in alcohol. What a strange move.

    Also, where's Best Brown on this list? It will be a big shame if the new corporate overlords have kicked that excellent beer to the curb.

    I don't NEED 16 ounces of hopslam, but I don't not want 16 ounces of hopslam

    Sounds like you might have acquired at least partial immunity to MAHS (Morning After Hopslam Syndrome), a nasty disease that seems to plague me regularly each January.

    Strange? Have you been to a beer store in the last few years? :wink: It's certainly not strange.
    That deal probably hasn't even closed yet.

    When they can charge the same amount for 8oz less beer, it's not strange. I'm guessing cans are cheaper (than bottles) and cost less to ship so they are saving money there also but I could be wrong about the cost of the 4 cans vs 6 bottles.

    I was going to post both of those thoughts, but you beat me to it.

    The Bell family might be taking their eye off the ball at this point, but it's a near certainty that the announced new owners have nothing to do with anything yet.

    As to high ABV IPAs in 4 packs of 16 oz cans, that ship sailed 10-15 years ago. It's ubiquitous now.

    I find it to be a fortifying morning beverage and a rejuvenating beverage in the evenings after q long day! Pints of hopslam, the any time drink of true superheroes!

    Wasn't the second hole supposed to be a breather to help the first hole pour easier?

    Seems this method would negate that process.

    The ad predates the disclaimer:

    And no Mars either. It rotates, but maybe not every year?
    Funny about Hopslam. 8 or 10 years ago it was doled out by the bottle, one to a customer. Some places kept it under the counter, like buying pornography in the '50s. Now the supermarkets have it in the cooler. Might have something to do with the price hike, or maybe there are so many other options that it's not the "it" girl anymore. But I still like it, something to look forward to mid- winter.

    I think about this sort of thing often, like when Victory Dirt Wolf and Lagunitas Sucks would be released and people would go crazy for it. Now one dies a slow death on shelves and the other isn't even made anymore.

    I never saw Best Brown this year. I buy a case of 16 oz cans each year. I had none this year.

    Enjoy

    Yeah, I bought a sixpack of 12 oz. bottles about a week ago - PKG. 11/04/2021 - first time I recall seeing it (but might have just ignored it in the few years Bells has been in NJ?).

    The Hearted themed Valentine's Day pack is clever. But I wouldn't want to be the guy who handed his girlfriend or wife a Cold Hearted or Black Hearted :grimacing:

    See the Green Flash/Alpine thread, & the comments re Green Flash taking that route to a higher $/oz . A lot of breweries have gone that way. I'd hope for otherwise with Bell's, but I can only remember one brewery ever taking the opposite tack .
    (Galaxy Brewing, ~ 2 /years ago.Reduced the $/oz with the 4pks, so that the pack price was <$10. Buuuttt....got caught w/ their pants down, in the middle of a major expansion, when the COVID shutdown hit. Now they're out of business. :confused:)

    Haven't ever seen them, Didn't know they existed, til this thread. Hope it shows up . I'd get that 12pk just to try those two.

    When north coast brewing added 16 oz cans they kept the $/oz identical to their 12 oz formats

    But more 'completely' an old-school IPA drinker.

    Some of the contemporary IPAs are more like sipping from a Juicy Juice box:

    :astonished::laughing:
    Yeah, 3 times on Valentine's day, I've delivered the girlfriend's flowers to the wife.
    Not my mistakes , btw.
    1st time, the guy waited til the last minute (2:30pm on V-Day :rolling_eyes:) was apparently in a hurry, addressed the envelope himself, to Suh Kim . His last name was Kim, his wife's first initial was "S" , & it was an apartment complex. He didn't give an apartment #, so I asked at the office. Found it!!! [Ominous laughter] . It was supposed to go to Kim Suh , at a different apt #. :stuck_out_tongue:

    Other times were cases of having both on the same account, & failure to edit by the person creating the order/printing the envelop. 1st one, me seeing 2 names/deliveries @ same address : Sending flowers to his mother-in-law ? Nice guy :wink:
    Nope!:stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    2nd time , I noticed, & asked . Was told to assume it was correct, it's not my job, just deliver it. :rolling_eyes:
    Nope! :flushed:

    Pro tip : Put your wife & girlfriend(s) on separate accounts, preferably at different business.
    2nd tip : Don't do that. It's not worth it. :wink::grin:
