I picked up my four bottles and there were only about 3-4 other people hanging around. No line even.
Dutch's in Cincinnati got a case this week, 3 bottle limit per person
Did you spot any grandmothers?
Columbus, OH folks - I bought a 6-pack at Grandview Carryout last week and they had several others. Dunno if they're still there, but it's worth a look. They've had Hoppin' Frog Barrel Aged BORIS sitting in the cooler forever, so it seems like maybe they don't move a lot of the heavy hitters.
Called a few places in Milwaukee. Not sure they are getting it.... BS!!
Parti-Pak and Crown Liquors in Indianapolis received some last Friday. I expect more places to have it now.
Finally got some today, a damn fine brew!
I wish this thread would die. It pops up to the top of the forums every day with a misleading title like something unexpected happened.
Columbus, OH folks - Savor in Clintonville hasn't put theirs out yet and are doing an event on Monday to release it
Was told NWI was going to miss out on this one - in bottles. It all went to the Valpo and Porter Brewfests. It may show up on tap.
Found some in Fort Wayne if anyone is interested. 1 6pack limit $19.99
had one last night. this is good stuff but i won't be hoarding it or anything. one sixer is gonna be more than enough to satisfy my curiosity.
Saw it the other day at $21 for a sixer...
Is this stuff worth it or is it just being hype inflated?
I haven't tried it yet, but that's roughly correct pricing. I believe it was around 18 for a sixer from the general store.
It is a stellar ale that is well worth $20+ a Sixer IMO.
I already went through most of the 6 pack I got on Sunday and I usually try not to drink that much during the week. It's just that good.
Well, we've had Tigers' games to watch, so you've had a good reason this week!
Madison got plenty - still sitting on the shelf in some locations...
BrettD - you heading up to Darkness Day, I could grab you a six-pack or so?
And with Valverde pitching, you have a good reason to drink!
I still have my TOGT11 in the fridge ... one bottle. Haven't had it yet. Want to save it for something special, but it's recommended by many to drink it fresh.
I meant to drink it if the Tigers made it to the ALCS, but I drank Sumpin' Sumpin' and Dragon's Milk (Bleh.........).
Foremost in Villa Park is selling singles. I was so excited I drove over after work. Guess how much. 7.99 - each. I asked the guy behind the counter. Before I could finish my question about 'are these priced right' he cut me off and said 'I just work here - I don't set the prices'. Apparently I'm not the first person to question it. That was the first and last time I'll be in there.
Yes, they have the right to price it however they want. No, I won't be going back there - ever. Good luck with those.
If someone can tell me how to upload a photo in a post, I'll put it up so all you "pics or it didn't happen" baloney-maroneys can see it.
Well, what do you know? Six packs were found at Godfathers today.
Picked up 2 more 6-packs today to include as extras... No shortage in Cleveland
where at in cleveland?
I got it at Simone's today... Case left...
Ross Deli, Simone's. And I think Heinens in River all still have it.
Shit.... You're in Lakewood....
haha shit. i got an excuse to sneak out of doing yard work now.
I just drank my first (and likely last) TOGT11.
Meh. This beer, like many beers similar to its style, is a bit too sweet for me. Barleywines are the same way. It seems I don't care much for the high calorie beers. I still rated it a 4/5 because it's a good beer, but definitely not one I'd drink often.
Saw a few 6ers of 11 left in Homewood, IL. United Liquors on Dixie Hwy.
Bought a single bottle a week ago. Forgot to put it in the fridge this morning. Got home late from work. It's in the fridge now, so hopefully by the 6th inning it will be ready to drink.
I drank one last night, it's very nice beer, its like a hoppy/rye spicy barleywine. Its got a lot of body, and I can see this changing into something nice down the road also
Hello. I soooooooooooooooo much love this Bell's. Way more than any previous "Batch"release (even though it's not a "Batch"). I scored 3 1/2 cases, so far, from various Chicago area locales. Paid between $15.99 and $19.99 a 6-er. The last place I went to on Sunday had a stack of 4 3/4 cases on the floor; my eyeballs popped out of my head! And my wallet came out of my pocket. Happy hunting. Thanks.
It's gonna be on draft at Local Option on the 26th of October for the next beer event: http://beeradvocate.com/events/info/57626
Anyone know if it's at Binnys or anywhere in the Burbs?
Forest Hills Foods in GR has at least 3 6-ers left as of noon today.
There will be a tapping of "this one goes to 11" at the Union Woodshop in Clarkston, MI Tuesday October 30th at 6:30 PM as part of a Bell's Event at both the Woodshop + Union. Yoc can find details on the events calendar on this very site.
Came across this while drinking "This One Goes to 11". Funny how things change
I've had Uberon and "11" and they don't taste alike.
"11" is drinking very well right now.
Can you elaborate?
