Wouldn't the beer freeze as soon as you pop the cap? This sounds like a nightmare

"When chilled below freezing, beer tastes better and stays cold twice as long as beer chilled in a regular refrigerator."

It sounds like its equal parts refrigerator, freezer and time machine. $800? Must be a Florida only release.

Not sure how it could chill the beer that quickly, yet maintain a suitable (non-freezing) temperature. Perhaps if the bottles were stored in a water bath (we've all quick chilled beer in a tub of ice water), it might work, but that does not appear to be the case in the picture.

    This seems inane

i think it is a genuinely innovative appliance. its a box, that when plugged in, makes warm food cold. even better, it keeps on making the cold food stay cold. that is fucking genius. its sounds like a refrigerator.

so this product is certainly not intended for the BA crowd. that is fine. there are a hell of alot more people buying
and drinking Coors Light that want this thing.

but no, it does not bring 40 bottles of room temperature anything to 25 degrees in one hour. no way. this is some sort of cryogenic device?
    bullshit.
