Arcadia London Porter, Bell's Porter, Founders Porter. All different profiles, each suits a different mood. I put that trio up against nearly any other porters out there.

The best porter available to me in a 6 pack is the best porter out there, Black Butte.

I guess I'd have to go with Edmund Fitzgerald, though I also love Anchor's porter and Highland Brewing's Oatmeal Porter.

Ooh, wait -- I'm changing my vote to Duck-Rabbit's Baltic Porter (when it's not infected, of course).

Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald, Yard's Washington Porter. Even thought they don't call it a porter, I'll throw Dark Horse's Special Black Ale in the ring.

These are not necessarily "the best" but what is almost always available for when I want a good porter:
Sierra Nevada and Yuengling. Also a big fan of Breckenridge Vanilla Porter

Arcadia's London Porter and Smuttynose Robust Porter are my choices, but Bell's and Founders are close runners-up. If you want to consider 'special' porters, then Arcadia's Shipwreck Porter is the clear winner -- you just have to purchase 6 of them to get a six pack.

    Smuttynose and Fuller's.
Black Butte would be up there, but it isn't available in Fl. Drank so much of that stuff on the west coast while I was there though.

Founder's Porter would be first, but it's been hard to find a fresh bottle of that brew 'round here as of late and I like my porters at the very least not bottle in Feb. Fuller's London Porter is the runner up, but I haven't been able to find that one at all around here in months. So the default goes to Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald. Great stuff though for sure. If you like coffee, this is your session beer. And I have to give a shout out to Smuttynose Robust Porter (tons of coffee in this one) and Bell's Porter (great, easy drinkin porter).
