Your link shows it in a 4-pack. Doesn't matter, I was shocked and not happy when they took two bottles out and kept the price up there.

Since Sucks isn't year-round (yet), I'll cast another vote for Lagunitas Maximus. 8.2% ABV, $9.99 a six-pack and delicious.

Wow! To each their own i suppose..u are the first person i've Ever heard say that. Most suggest it as one of the best..myself included, which is probly why people keep suggesting it. Maybe you just don't care for that style or spectrum of IPA. Shame..but leaves more for the rest of us tho.

Nah, it says Four 12oz Bottle Six Packs (talking about a case layout). It matters, I must be right! :stuck_out_tongue:

Maximus, Perpetual(drinks like a regular IPA, Sucks, and Southern Tier are excellent choices for the $. They can't hold a candle in taste to Heady, Double Jack, or Double Trouble. I will have to have this Flying Dog beer some time we get it in New Hampshire. That is my opinion anyway.

After reading all of the posts and controversy over freshness and distribution size, I suggest finding whatever locally FRESH IIPA you get in your area and consider it a happy day for you. FRESHNESS seems to trump all discussion points made that I can extract from reading most of the posts.

Agreed, but we also can't use that as an excuse to settle for mediocre IPAs/DIPAs, either. Case in point: anything DuClaw makes that's called an IPA.

In what world is ruination affordable? 17.99 a six pack can suck it. It's a great beer but it doesn't fall into 10-12 range.

    Sucks and Maximus win here

Drove to DC tonight to grab a 12er of "The Truth"... Hope this lives up to the hype!

Price wise is high. But, Firestone Walker Double Jack was quite tastey. I also agree with 90 minute, Any Lagunitas IPA, any Three Floyds IPA's, maine beer "LUNCH" (single ipa), and a small brewery in Pittsburgh called Helltown. They have phenomenal IPA's.

Dang, my store marked it down to $8.99.
A bunch more cases of it just came in, sweet.

If Ruination was $9.99 a six pack, it would only be available in California.

This is a great brew, best new beer I've had in 2013. At $9/sixer it's hard to beat.

After trying Dirt Wolf this weekend, I don't know if you can beat that at $9.99 a 4 pack.
