I hate to think what would have happened to the forward pass if you were reffing that decision.

    My new entry is:

    Trillium Heavy Mettle = 99
    SN Oktoberfest = 89

Kind of cheating in two ways...

But last week I think I had Double Dry Hopped Fort Point and/or Galaxy Dry Hopped Fort Point from Trillium and Heineken in my fridge.

But that was last week, and the Heineken was my roommate's (so were the Trilliums, but we split them).

    Thirsty Dog Wulver = 96

Cerveza Imperial from Costa Rica = 0

How does a delightful summer beer like Imperial not have a rating yet??? It's so good with salt and lime. Plus with a September 2018 expiration on a beer already six months old, I don't have to be in a hurry to drink it.

I always have a bottle or two of Old Rasputin in the fridge that gets a 97.
My wife knows I like traditional lime margaritas, so she brought home a couple of Bud Light Lime a Ritas from a company cookout thinking I might like it. That gets a 58, much higher than it deserves.
That looks to be about a 39 point spread.

    Actually in the beer fridge:

98 for Hopslam (yes, it's old)
51 for Coors Light (party leftover)
    47 point difference

If I factor in cellared beers (100 for BCBS) I can get the differential up to 49. Boom.

You really think that a Florida Ice and Farm subsidiary in Costa Rica can brew a cross between a pilsner and a Dortmunder beer that is good for at least a year and a half (probably longer, depending on where you purchased it) when US brewers - including their own NAB US breweries - typically give such a beer 3-6 months shelf-life?

You found my beer in the database!!! And apparently I did too, because I rated it previously. :flushed:

With a score of 67 I believe that makes the difference only 29. And, no, I don't think it'll last 18 months. Although, I forgot to mention we usually drink it with ice. Maybe that extends the life a little... :smirk:

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Scott17Taylor has the current best Differential BA score of 53. Congrats sir!
But, I may still have to file an official protest against my own freak'n contest because I would drink a case of Natty Light before I would drink a single can of Camo Black Ice. Camo is like drinking Natty Light with a mouth full of blood and pennies...positively putrid.

53 would be tough to beat even if I had a 100, but I don't. None of my bunch of O'fests score that high for some reason. That leaves the heavy lifting for Melvin 2X4 DIPA at 95.

My low one also comes by way of a party leftover- Corona light at 48. Differential of 47.

Well, I can't really compete now. But if I'd answered this two weeks ago when I had a Trappist Rochfort 10 (99) and a few Bud Lights (48) in my fridge I'd have a differential of 51.

I still have the rochefort. But a couple of weeks ago, I literally threw away 3 cans of Bud Light that a friend had brought over many months ago. They'd been sitting in the crisper drawer.

In all honesty, he left more than 3 cans. I'd cracked a couple over the months just to sample them. All in all it's not offensively bad beer, it's just impossibly bland beer.

I have some KBS which is 100. I couldn't think of anything below 90. But I didn't consider the singles I get to try such as Oktoberfests and Pumpkin beers. The Ballast Point Dead Ringer Oktoberfest I had lined up to drink last night was rated at 83. But it's gone now.
