We're halfway through 2015 (sorta), and was curious to see what everyone's best and worst new beer you've tried so far this year. For me, hands down best so far was Bible Belt (courtesy of @BullDoza ). I love that stuff. Worst so far Silva Stout cellar 3 no question about it.

Best has been the 2015 Parabola. Even fresh, it was mind-blowing! Runner up for my very first Jai Alia last month when visiting Tampa; totally lives up to the hype.

Worst/Most Disappointing, have to agree....my C3 Silva Stout was a butter bomb and absolute drain pour.

Glad you're enjoying all those Bible Belts. I'm sure you'd like some of the other Prairie stouts too. We'll have to work some more trades out.

As for my best? That's really tough. Parabola 2015 is up there. I'd be lying if I said I didn't really enjoy the Rye Barrel Aged Smoking Wood you sent me @Superflyjsc I really, really ejoyed that. It definitely sticks out. I was initially more excited to try the Bourbon Barrel version, and was surprised i preferred the former.

Worst - wasn't a fan of the 2013 Bourbon Barrel Temptress I had a few months ago. Putrid, in my humble opinion.

Best: Bell's Uranus. I really hope this gets brewed again because this is an incredibly fresh and enjoyable Black DIPA.

Worst: Great Lakes Sharpshooter. Not a horrendous beer by any means but it just felt kind of messy for a session beer. I was disappointed because everything else I've had from GL has been world class.

Stand outs for me so far were Firestone XVII, Bourbon County Brand Barleywine, CBS, and Hardywood Bourbon GBS.

Worst, WITHOUT A DOUBT, was Adroit Theory's bourbon barrel aged Zero coffee IPA. To me, it tasted just like how rotting lettuce smells, which I am far too familiar with as a produce manager. Couldn't even stomach a "try" pour...

Haven't had any bad beers this year. The best would be chimay blue. That beer is the first quad I liked and I'm now hooked on the style.

I have 3 best new beers, in order Vanilla Rye, PseudoSue, and Maple Bacon Coffee Porter. They all blew my mind.

The most disappointing beer that I've had for the first time this year was definitely Dark Horse Double Crooked Tree IPA. Tasted like a boozy mess to me.

Heady Topper Good.... Chai spiced IRS from Stone too.

I had a Earl Grey Dunkelweizen from Flying Dog that I felt wasn't good enough to meet the cut.

    Best: BCBCS
    Runner Up: Chillwave
Worst: Short's Woodmaster - Not sure if I got a bad bottle or what, had streaks of something in the liquid. It went down the drain.
Worst Runner Up: Evil Twin Ashtray Heart

The best beer I've had this year would have to be Sunday Morning Stout, the worst is a toss-up between Silva Stout and that god-awful "bourbon barrel aged" Labatt's.

Best: Tyranena Wrath of Rocky. Awesome bourbon flavor that doesn't overwhelm the brown ale base. Honorable mention to Ale Asylum Pantheon.
Worst: O'so Barrel Aged Convenient Distraction. Love the regular CD, I was super excited for the BA version, but I couldn't even force myself to drink it. Flat and really off flavors.
