    Caveats:
    • Slow start to this year, so there's not a lot that is new to me yet this year.
    • I don't stand in line or trade, so my choices are a bit pedestrian compared to most of you.
    • I haven't tried anything truly awful yet, just disappointing, so my "worst" are not as bad as "worst" might imply.
    • I also did not include any of the one-time special release beers
    Best
    Summit Hopvale Organic Ale
    Alaskan Smoked Porter 2014

    Worst
    2015 Surly Bitter Brewer

Best might have had to be Sherry Zhukov, but I could list a dozen beers that are a close second... its been a good year for beer so far.

I hate to say any beer is the worst, and would definitely not call the following anywhere near the worst I had- but one of my biggest let downs was the Flying Dog Mexican Hot Chocolate Stout. I love a good spiced stout and had high expectations that were definitely not met.

I'll add to my disappointments NYFRB- I can not drink this stuff without ice cream in it.
