Best: Weihenstephaner Vitus. Like all Weihenstephaner I've had, it was World Class!

Worst: Not your fathers rootbeer(5.9). This disgusting swill shouldn't even be considered "beer", it baffles me that this isn't classified as a "Malternative" on here!

Worst: This is a laugh..I don't know why I even bought this brand..but I did.. Shocktop Pretzel? Or Shockolate Wheat? Ick. A beer definitely should not have a fake pretzel taste to accompany it...

Best: I say this only because its a name I can really remember..but so far.. (from memory) my favorite so far is Brooklyn Sorachi Ace

Had beers this year that I rated both higher and lower but these two were better and worse than expected...

Best: Westbrook Mexican Cake - Finally got to try this one. Awesome! Never tasted anything like it before.
Worst: NB Lips of Faith Salted Belgian Chocolate Stout - High hopes for this one but found a trainwreck.

Tough to choose a best with all the great beer I've had

Best: BA Mexican Cake, HF Mosaic, PseudoSue, West Ashley

    Worst: Crime of Passion

Easily the worst beer I've had this year and probably of all time along with Bud Light

Best for me was Surly Todd the Axe Man. Probably the best ipa I have ever had and that's saying a lot since I've had a lot of ipas (what beer geek hasn't? lol). Like I said before, I think the Midwest brews the best ipas, and here we have another beer strongly confirming my bias lol. Worst/most disappointing beer I had was Stone Pale Ale 2.0. I'm a fan of pale ales and the original Stone one was one of my favorites. So I was excited to try the 2.0, thinking it would be an improvement on an already great beer. Nope. To me, it had lots of bitterness, without enough hop flavor. Bitterness for the sake of bitterness. (Probably going to try this one again in the future though. Perhaps my taste buds had an off day).

Best - Bourbon Barrel-Aged Old Scrooge - Silver City (WA)

Worst - skipping over the wretched Saku Estonian Porter and Dr. Jekyll's herbal Bio Beer concoction, the worst beer by people who know better was Stone's Saison.

Best: Nugget Nectar (first year distributed in my state)

Worst: The lowest I have rated on Untappd for 2015 is Delicious IPA from Stone at 2.5 stars. It's a better beer than that since I've had it since then. I can't really think of any super bad beers I've had this year. I have become pretty good at avoiding those.

Stone Saison was awesome (if you like lavender ale). What's the sarcasm font around here?

Best: Saltwater Brewery Sea Cow Milk Stout. My favorite style, and this is spot on.

Can't say I've had a "worst" this year. Maybe 1 or 2 that I sampled at Jupiter this year that I wasn't crazy about, but they weren't ground pours.

The best new beer I've had in 2015 (which is to say a beer I've had for the first time in this calendar year) is Fremont's First Nail.
The worst new beer is Green Flash's Silva Stout (also consumed for the first time in 2015), though there was obviously a diacetyl problem with the bottle I had.
