Need some advice on a good American Pale Ale to offer up at our next beer tasting. maybe even some good grub to serve along with it. Try not to tease me with anything I can't find.

Do you want a local Florida brewery APA? If so where are you located

My two favorites are Invasion Pale Ale (CCB) and FYA Pale Ale (7th Sun), nether is available in cans or bottles just yet though so I guess I'm not helping much.

I've had Invasion and liked it, haven't tried many of 7th Suns beers, but plan too. However I am looking for something in cans or bottles to bring to a tasting.

I am located in Lakeland. It doesn't have to be a Florida Brewer just available in Central Florida.

I second FYA swing by 7vnth sun and grab a growler if possible (well make sure its on first). Also Cycle Brewing's Freewheel is awesome as well. Also both of these are often available at some other FL establishments that fill growlers as well, so I would look around locally for either, these are both great FL hoppy APAs.

Are all good and pretty easy to get. I'm not sure where you're located, but if you're in Jax or maybe even the NE Florida area you may be able to find Green Room's Pablo Beach Pale Ale in cans and that is a great APA.

Native Glades pale ale is the best APA in Florida right now hands down.

Yeah but can you get it in bottles? OP said in follow-up post that he wanted something bottled or canned to bring to a tasting, and he's located in Lakeland.

Not currently, but I'm hearing rumblings of a possible canning or bottling sometime soon since its been such a success.

Good to hear. I'm in Ft Lauderdale so I see Native Lager and Eleven Brown Ale around everywhere. It would be nice to see the addition of Glades Pale Ale around town, which would be an upgrade over the other two (different styles, i know).

I'm in Lakeland also! If I wanted to make an impression at a tasting I would definitely get a growler of Freewheel. I had that a couple of weeks ago and was blown away. You'll have to drive to Peg's to get it, but then you're at Peg's and can have dinner and a few beers. I don't find that to be a bad thing at all.

If you do, check out the Fixie! It's by far my favorite APA!
