Best beer bar/store near Willis Tower?

    Hi. I haven't been to Chicago before, so please pardon the question. I have seen a few Chicago beer threads but none as specific is this (near Willis Tower).

    I am going to training in Chicago next week and staying near the Willis Tower. Are there any good bars or beer stores in the immediate area (walking distance)? Or will it require that I take a taxi and go to some other part of town? I dont want to get lost in Chicago trying to hunt down a bottle of Zombie Dust. :slight_smile:

    I am interested in trying Three Floyds beer if possible.

    Would appreciate any suggestions.

    Within walking distance you want the South Loop Market on VanBuren. Just head South on Franklin its at the corner of Franklin and VanBuren.

    Printers Row Wine Shop is also good. South Loop Binny's is about a 5 minute drive from the Sears Tower

    Also, if you call it the WIllis Tower while you're here, homeless people will hear you and know you're not from here and swarm you until you give them money.

    So, you know, proceed as you will...

    Agreed, my aunt from Iowa made the same mistake while trying to get a cab at Union Station, please please OP don't call it the Willis tower, i just get these horrible images of Bruce Willis' face lit up in neon on the top of a 1729ft. Chicago landmark.
