    First post!

Just finished a bottle of Stack Brewery's "Last Bite Pumpkin Porter", it has moved to the top of the list of my favourite pumpkin brews.

Aside form that, can't go wrong with St. Ambroise or Mill Street's Nightmare on Elm Street (haven't seen it out this year).

Pumpkin Beer....definitely one of my LEAST favorite styles. Having said that, I always go back to St. Ambroise. Recently had Orange Snail's (Milton, ON) version which was decent as well.

I actually just had their Imperial Pumkin last week at a local bar! Initially I was passing it off as a 4/5 for how delicious it was...but it dawned on me that I couldn't possibly have another pint of it back-to-back. It was too boozy and bold for my initial rating, so I had to dumb'er down to a 3.5/5. Still a good beer though! You may as well put whipped topping on it as it literally tastes like pumpkin pie :stuck_out_tongue:

All Flying Monkeys beers with additions are very heavy handed in my opinion. I like that with respect to Chocolate Manifesto, but Acadian Groove tastes closer to drinking maple syrup than it does to beer, El Toro Bravo is like licking a cedar lined closet and the Pumpkin one is more like liquid pie than beer. Generally not my thing, but for those who like it over the top, these beers are likely up their alley.

I wish more breweries tried different things with pumpkin beers. The vast majority end up as mediocre versions of Pumking/Punkin/etc.

I'm drinking Russell Brewing Happy Jack Pumpkin Ale (Oaked and Spiced).

It's quite good. Very smooth and soft mouthfeel. Light medium body. The pumpkin and spice is there but not overbearing.

I find Russell Brewing beers always solid. The beers never blow my mind - but they are always good (the only exception is the Luck of the Irish Red Ale - that was poor).
