High abv: prairie bomb!

Next up: FFF wigsplitter- I have been sitting on this bottle for a while. The shout outs in this thread have inspired me to crack it open this weekend!
My 3 top favorites are Founders Breakfast Stout, Bourbon County Coffee Stout, and Peche Mortel. I have had others that I liked almost as well but In the end those 3 are the ones that keep me happy.
DuClaw just started being distributed in my area in the last month and on your recommendation I will be on the look out for X9 Coffee stout.
Creature Comforts Breakfast with Paul
What is their dist. area?
Can't seem to get enough FFF Wig splitter. Love it
breakfast exorcism by clown shoes gets my vote
No Rules, right now. Damn, had forgotten how TASTY this beer is.
Fremont BA Dark Star: Coffee Edition.
Full Pint Breakfast Porter from Abnormal Beer Company was pretty good.
Right now, it's Georgia only (and basically just Athens and Atlanta at the moment). But this was a one-time growler release.
Though I am not a fan of coffee, I have found myself a passenger aboard the hype train.
Without being too typical with my selection.. Alaskan Heritage Brown is a must. Minus the bomber form, I hate bombers. I also picked up a lot of coffee/heat from Perrin's Hot-Box brown ale.. Though I don't remember reading anything about coffee or chilies on the can. t'was very mild on both ends(which I guess isn't a good thing for this thread, but w/e)
Both are aces in my book!
Anyone in Michigan (or near the border) should find some of this while it's available. Love it every fall when it drops.
It's very different on tap. Since I live in Eugene, I bought a bottle a couple days after it was released and liked it enough, but I love it on tap. It's way more coffee forward that way.
That seems to be a constant theme with coffee beers, though. For example, I love Speedway Stout on tap, and get it whenever it's near me, but I thought it was a boozy mess when I bought a bottle.
As for me, I got to try Founder's Breakfast Stout for the first time yesterday. It was pretty great.
Sunday Morning Stout and Big Bad Baptist!!!!!
Cycle Pallet #4
Ba Vietnamese speedway
KENT FALLS COFFEEMAKER! That's it. Mic Drop
Adding Coffee Abraxas to this. Damn that was good
I am a big fan of Big RICC. And 2015 BCBCS is incredible. I'm hoping to get much bottles.
Breakfast Exorcism was excellent. The espresso made it very coffee forward. By far the best Clownshoes beer I've had.
Cafe Americano (it's better than the rum version imo)
Founders Breakfast stout
Shorts Cup of Joe
Epic Big Bad Baptist
Kuhnhenn Creme Brulé Java
Total Eclipse Breakfast Stout from Maumee Bay ranks pretty darn high in my book.
About two months ago I picked up a 4pack of super fresh Founders Breakfast Stout. I know the stuff is everywhere (in Founders' distro) but it is phenomenal when it's fresh like that. The coffee is so much more in the showcase.
Peche Mortel. This is a must to try.
Peche Mortel. So good.
I just had Big Bad Baptist for the first time. It's a terrific imperial stout with one of the best coffee tastes I've experienced.
Do they distribute this to stores? Or is it just available from the brewery?
Tree House Morning Breakfast.
Recently: Mikkeller Beer Geek Breakfast
In the past: Tree House Double Shot
Left Hand Bittersweet is pretty fantastic.
had a prarie bomb last week, great stuff.
I'm a big fan of coffee beers. In no particular order:
Ballast Point Victory at Sea
Boulevard Imperial Stout X: Coffee
Central Waters Brewhouse Coffee Stout
Dragons Milk Reserve with Coffee and Chocolate
Kentucky Breakfast Stout
Surly Coffee Bender, for an easy drinker
Founders Breakfast Stout, for after dinner/dessert
Just had Maui Doppelshot Double Bock. Great Coffee beer
Does FBS age well? I have two bottles from last year in the cellar. I didn't plan on aging them, but after they had been sitting for a while, I decided just to leave them there. I might open one soon to try side-by-side with a fresh bottle.
