I love maple forward beers, looking for more to target for future trading. My current favorites (in no order).

Have not had the first one, but two through four are awesome. I’d put Jackie O’s first, but I’m a homer.

I still remember walking into the local discount beverage store and seeing a full case of it just sitting there on the floor. I admit, I got wood.

I bought two bottles at roughly $22 a piece. I popped the first one that same night and lost my shit.

I fully admit I'm a slave to hype but I don't even care. That hype was liquid sex sauce in my mouth and I can't wait to drink it again.

I thought the bourbon barrel took a back seat and the vanilla, but more notably the hazelnut and maple came through a lot. Not the most maple forward like some of the Evil Twin beers, but definitely maple.

Old Curmudgeon did it for me. Maple was seamlessly matched up with the base beer and the bourbon/vanilla oakiness of the barrel. Couldn't be beat for less than $5 a bottle.

I've had a good percentage of these, and I'd take Weldwerks' Coffee Maple Acromatic (bottles) over all of them. It's not barrel aged, but the coffee and maple play so damn perfectly together!

I still like the Tommyknocker Maple Nut Brown. The fact that it's under 5% and about 100x cheaper and easier to acquire than most others doesn't hurt. When it's fresh, it's still pretty sublime.

If we're talking anything goes, Great Notion and Weldwerks have made the best ones I've had, period.

Since most of the recommendations seem to be Stouts or similar I will throw these few out there.

Lawson's Finest Maple Tripple Ale which had its annual release less than 2 weeks ago.
    Notes / Commercial Description:
Enticing, rich and complex, this creation defies easy description. Our 'once-a-year beer' is brewed only during sugaring season with 100% maple sap from our friend Paul Marble in Fayston, VT. No water added! Just barley, hops, and ale yeast.

Could probably land some of these in a combo:
    Lawson's Finest Maple Nipple
    Notes / Commercial Description:
Our robust, rich maple ale is loaded with 100% pure Vermont maple syrup. It delivers a smooth and palate pleasing mouth feel with a slightly sticky finish!

CMA and CM Noche are the ones that immediately come to mind. Out of those hundred cans they released last year I feel like there's another one I'm forgetting, too. I suppose that's the knock of having so many SKU's.

Don't really have a favorite, but I tried these 2 in the last week and thought both was great. The shake your stake seemed to be better than DS mainly because it wasn't over the top sweet.
