I recently discovered Lagunitas. I'm a fan of Censored, but what other Lagunitas brews should I try?

Also, anything similar to Lagunitas brews, please let me know your opinions on new brews to try. I tend to shy away from IPA's, but theyre growing on me. I need a smooth transition (unless it's PtE. Then no need)

A Little Sumpin Sumpin is a nice transition to an IPA

I saw that one today, I'm almost bought it, but chose Dogtown instead. About to pour that one right now

You really can't go wrong with Maximus, my personal fave, all pineapple/orange juicy. Not too bitter, either, so I could see it being a good place to start, too.

Is that seasonal or year round?

Year round- so it's probably best to check the dates. They stamp it on the neck with a Julian code- 4 digits with the last day of the year being first, then the day of the year. 3365 would be the 365th day of 2013, or Dec 31st. For Maximus you probably want to get it under 3 months old (at most).

ETA: Oops! Strike that. Reverse it. Lagunitas puts the year last and after a space, so that date would be 365 3.

I happen to be enjoying a Sucks at the moment. The first smell after pulling a cap two years ago I thought I had wasted 10 bucks on a six. At the end of that first bottle I thought I might have been a little hasty in judgment. After the second I was hooked on my favorite beer. As a transition to IPA, New Dogtown, at 45-50 degrees is a wonderful brew. I wish Lagunitas was as forthcoming with their hop bill as Stone and Sierra Nevada is on their websites. I do not want any proprietary secrets, but give me an idea of what I might fool around with to approximate that "nose". Wonderful beers.

I love craft beer as well, but I'm struggling with IPA's. Any suggestions?

I just sipped New Dogtown. EXCELLENT BREW.

What do I think about what? I don't understand, I'm sorry.

Sorry, I think my question came up on a post other than the one I was aiming at. My question was what did you think of the New Dog Town?

For my money, it's gotta be Lagunitas Sucks. Also, heir standard IPA is a tad mild for the style and would probably serve well as an introduction.

Sucks and Brown Shugga' both are seasonal but I'd start with A Little Sumpin Sumpin. Sucks is out now though so if you can grab that, do it. It's the best of them all. With that being said, I haven't had a bad beer from Lagunitas.
