Just so those of you interested in coming into Local Option know kitchen opens at 3pm Monday-Thursday and noon Friday-Sunday. Taps open at noon every day for those interested in a liquid lunch.

Parson's Chicken and Fish is great, but only open for lunch on Weekends currently. Second all the other recommendations above, especially Piece.

Dear god are you wrong. So so wrong :slight_frown:

Publican, Kumas, Hot Dugs are the correct answers.

When it comes to my own opinion about the quality of food and beer, I think I'm spot-on. Thanks for your two cents though!

Pete did brew good beers then he turned into a drunk and things are hit or miss with a lot of misses. They do have good guest taps and the food is asi asi. As far as 1 place in the city to eat lunch (or the top 50) its not even a consideration.

I would hit Kumas, stop by The Beer Temple right down the street and then head a bit south to Revolutionary Brewing. All in walking distance of each other and close enough to the Blue line train.

I've been past Kuma's a couple of times and the line was out the door so I passed. What's the best time to go?

There's Kumas Too in my boring neighborhood and it seems like there is never a line there.

Have lunch at Manny's, then walk across the street to Binny's for beer on tap and of course to go. Is that cheating?
