Not familiar with the SW burbs at all and will be in Lockport for disc golf at the end of the month. What's the best place in that area or along 355 heading north to stop for lunch and beer?

Exactly. I live in the NW burbs and my brother lives in Urbana so we are meeting up halfway.

If it's your first time, you're in for a treat. The park district takes fantastic care of the place. There's an A tier tournament there beginning of May, so the spring cleanup is already in full force. Be sure to stop in at the shop just off the parking lot. Super friendly people.

Never been to Dellwood. I always thought The Oaks in Mokena was a pretty sweet place.

Keeping you very close to 355, Ike & Oak (in Seven Bridges) is pretty solid for a new brewery. Decent beer, really good pizza. However you can't go wrong with Bavarian in Lisle, it's kinda the Tah Mahal of beer selections in the area
