I know a few places that can order whatever you want with some notice, but where would I find good kegs of beer with no notice (for Saturday)?

If you want to go outside of d.c. Total Wine carries kegs and they usually have something decent, also at least one Whole Foods (fair lakes) has been known to sell kegs now and then.

Q: Do you sell kegs of beer directly from the brewery?
A: We did for a short time, but we no longer sell kegs directly to consumers. There are several liquor stores in DC that sell kegs directly to consumers. Ask your local liquor and beverage store!

I thought I'd heard that D'Vine's sold kegs
