Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout or Founders Imperial Stout. Hands down.

It's hard to get but Mott The Lesser is the best stout I've had that meets the OP's description.

One that hasn't been mentioned is Yuri's RIS from Equinox, which is exceptional, but only available in Fort Collins.

    Nationally:
    Old Rasputin
    Ten Fidy

    When I'm lucky:
    VooDoo Big Black VooDoo Daddy
    Founder's RIS
    Expedition

It literally says Bourbon Wood Aged right on the can...

I'd like to throw in MadTree's Axis Mundi into the ring, but unfortunately it's not packaged at this time.

I like Founders IS and Ten Fidy, but my vote goes to:

Lagunitas IS - In many ways, the above are "better", but I find myself only enjoying them to half the glass, and then I don't want anymore. Lagunitas isn't as bold, but is far more drinkable.

Agreed....I hope someone else uses/buys their recipe. It was my go to stout.

Since this is probably my favorite style and a lot of my darlings have been mentioned already (Southampton IRS, Marshall Zhukov, (aged) Expedition Stout, Founders Imperial Stout, Darkness, Stone IRS & Yeti), I'll give a shout out to some underrated stuff that I've enjoyed and haven't seen mentioned yet:

-Courage Imperial Russian Stout (this one ages incredibly)
-Renegade Hammer & Sickle (low ratings but I thoroughly enjoyed it)
-Clown Shoes Blaecorn Unidragon (along with Raspy, my favorite go-to turd)
-Portsmouth Royal Impy Stout (somewhat limited and pricey but worth seeking out)
-Laika Russian Imperial Stout (this one surprised me - very nice)
-Good People El Gordo (this might be the biggest, baddest stout I've ever had - incredible beer)
-Black Market Black Hole Sun (right up there with Gordo - at 15% it's a monster - I loved this beer and it looks it's being re-branded as Dmitri in the near future. Hopefully the recipe stays the same and the relatively low BA ratings ensure I can get this relatively easily  )

I'd say Founders IRS or Bell's Expedition.
