anyone saying anything other than Funky Buddha Last Snow has never had it
I love the smell of Troegs Nugget Nectar
cigar city cubano expresso
Tripel Karmeleit. Just something about the melding of the grains (hops, yeast, know how) in the magic of this beer. Smells and tastes divine.
Samuel Smiths Organic Chocolate Stout
Heady, Sofie Paradisi and Black Note.
CCB Cognac Barrel Imperial Sweet Stout
Parabola, Fresh squeezed, compunction, hunahpu, abyss, bramble rye
the smell of a liter of helles in a german beer garden on a warm fall day.
Rodenbach Grand Cru smells amazing.
Saison Dupont is great.
Enjoy By is always a pleasure to sniff.
Westbrook One Claw....if it tasted like it smelled it might be one of the best beers ever.
My tops would probably be zombie dust and racer 5.
Arctic Panzer Wolf
The crazy thing is this batch of Enjoy By has a VASTLY reduced aroma compared to previous batches! I've had 4 batches so far, and up until this batch it was my favorite beer, bar none, but this batch both aroma and taste wise is not nearly as good as previous batches (still very good, but far from the perfect 5s across the board that I gave it for other batches). One beer that I've had recently that I was blown away by the aroma is Double Sunshine! I could smell it from about 3 feet away as if my nose was right in the glass! Absolutely delightful! MBC's Lunch smells wonderful, though the taste doesn't quite live up to the aroma.... So many others I could list... hmmm... Bodhi, Abner, KBS, Victory at Sea, Parabola, Sucks... I'll stop there, but there are many out there =)
Hands down Southern Tier Creme Brûlée
I can think of one or two that may rival the smell of the Samuel Smith Chocolate beer, but to me this is the best smelling beer I've ever had.
RuinTen smelled amazing and the smell was so thick you could pretty much chew it!
Judgment Day and Horny Devil both have great smells to them too!
KBS and Ten Fidy
All Day and Heady for IPA
Sucks, Peche Mortel, Hop Stoopid, Duchess de Bourgogne
Sucaba, Heady, Abrasive
Big gruesome. BNL.
Pumking & Big Gruesome. In both cases, the smell is beter than the tast, IMHO.
Orval aged 2 to 3 years. Bretty funk aroma galore.
Knee Deep Simtra.
Deschutes - Fresh Squeezed IPA.
Hi-Fives by Pizza Port. Its like burying your face in a lb. of freshly harvested OG kush. Too bad they barely make any of it.
Weihenstephaner Vitus smells like a glazed, Christmas ham, which I think is amazing.
Willoughby Peanut Butter Porter.
Fresh Fou' Foune.. I think it smells better than it tastes (and it tastes pretty damn good)
Also think BA Abraxas smells *almost* as good as it tastes.
And for my hoppy vote, Pipeworks Citra Ninja!
Supplication and a fresh Hop Stoopid.
Bottle - Hopslam
Can - Anti-Hero, Heady
Lente. Super funky
BA Abraxas - http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/25888/87246
Chocolate, vanilla, and coconut aroma... heavenly
Sucks, Flower Power, Founders Harvest Ale, Nugget Nectar, Double Sunshine, and Nelson.
Recently had crooked stave's artisanal vieille saison and that shit blew me out of the park smell and taste wise. "I live for the funk, I'll die for the funk."
Drakes AromaComa. Wow!
Short's Strawberry Short's Cake! The smell is insanely reminiscent of its namesake.
I absolutely loved the smell of Abraxas and Attempted Redrum.. My two favorites by a long way! Then there's Heady Topper, Firestone XVI, and Cantillon Fou Fonne.
Yeah, we all know that fruity, floral, and piney ass hops are gonna have an intense smell, but they don't impress me as much as they used to.
