What beers do you find to be the best value i.e. BA rating over price? Not including beers youve bought on crazy sales, or buying directly from the brewer, just the average price. I'm guessing Heady Topper is the highest value, but what else is great and relatively inexpensive?

ST2X at 9.99 is a good deal IMO. Total wine sells all SN 12s for 12.99 around here which is real nice.

ZD is good but not at that price point...wow, had no idea.

Agree with all the SNBC picks, as well as Stone and Lagunitas' line-up.

    I hate BMCs.
I don't like light lagers or pilsners.

I need a beer I can drink regularly in between my special, more expensive indulgences.
    Anything under $1.35 a bottle.

    Suggestions?

Up here in RI it's Long Trail Ale (or their Pale Ale) or Grey Sail Ale (or their pale ale too).

Sam Adams and Sierra Nevada should have something in their lineup that fits your desires.

$8.75/6er sounds like a smoking deal to me. I'd do that all day long if available in CA.

    Dominion Oak Barrel Stout.

$7-9/6 pack, with more depth and balance than many imperial stouts.

For reference, Stella Artois is more expensive per oz than Zombie Dust. My guess is your a hater though, and that you can't get ZD regularly. So, enjoy your SNPA, cheerz!

I hear Founders Imperial Stout is 9.99 for a 4-pack. If you CAN get it, yet HAVEN'T, you deserve severe punishment.

Okay, a tad too expensive then. Still, amazing value for money.

Having experinced Ipswich Oatmeal Stout only twice(and finding it to be one of my favorite oatmeal stouts), i am completley bummed that it's not immedeatley available where i live. Now that i know what a 6 pk go's for i'm heartbroken.

How is ZD not good at THAT price? $8.75 per 6NR doesn't do it for you?
