As I opened my very well stocked beer fridge tonight I stumbled upon a question. What is the best beer that has year around availability and is easy to find. For me (being a stout fan) it is Prairie Bomb! I have a fridge full of "whales" and rare/expensive beers that I am aging. But for me year around I can always grab a bottle of Bomb! and be completely satisfied. What about you?

    Bomb! An everyday beer?! :astonished:

There are a lot and they change but right now it's Pivo Pils and Founders Porter.

Bomb! as an every day beer? Jesus Christ.

My choices would be Bell's Two Hearted, and Firestone Walker Pivo Pils and/or Sixpoint The Crisp.

Well to me Bomb! is a every day available beer. My local store has it at all times. I keep it stocked in my fridge. For me it's a beer I don't feel like I need to save so I can drink it whenever.

I'm confused how the first 2 replies to the thread are questions about bomb being a every day beer. What am I missing? It has wide distro and is available year around with a extremely great taste.

Well at 10 bucks a bottle in SF it's not really an "everyday" beer IMO. I would prefer to stock FBS. I could drink Union Jack, Modern Times Fortunate Islands, and Sierra Nevada Hophunter every day.

I drink a shit ton of modern times. Mostly because of the 16oz can format and the variety packs they come in. It's a pretty sweet deal. Pretty perfect, a beer for any mood, with that variety. The empty window in the packaging is the revolving seasonal. City of the sun last month now it comes with booming rollers i think. I've been keeping these stocked in my fridge. Every liquor store in my area and even most costco's have the 20 packs. This along with the Pizza Port variety pack I got some bases covered.

It's just something I have a hard time imaging someone would want on a daily basis. It would be like having a chocolate cake every day.

Luponic distortion. Once you start getting tired of it then a new batch will come out!

If it weren't for the price I'd say Schlenkerla Helles. Otherwise, let's go with either FW Union Jack or Pivo Pils.

Zombie Dust is probably mine with the way Three Floyd's is cranking it out at the brewery lately.

Handful of thoughts, depending on the mood: Two Hearted, Lagy Sucks or Sumpin' Sumpin', DFH 90 Minute, Victory Storm King.

Presumably this was meant to mean... as in throughout the country. Clearly that is not the case for a # of the beers mentioned in this thread. That said, I can get behind Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and Bell's Two Hearted. Both readily available and both reasonably priced.

I would have to say Ballast point Grunion, Dale's Pale Ale, and Lawson's Super Session #2 (now widely available in VT)
