Figured I'd start this now that Sacred Profane seems fully up and running. My wife and I went up there for a quick overnight this past weekend. Highlights: Sacred Profane - Had their 2 beers and enjoyed both. Took home a 12 pack of the Pale Lager. Didn't try food this time. Friendly staff, nice vibe. Magnus on the Water - Had dinner and drinks. Food was spectacular, no drafts but good selection of cans and bottles, cocktails were the highlight. Just great service, price and staff, highly recommend. Supposed to eat at the restaurant in the Lincoln Hotel, where we were staying, but it was maxed out by 8 PM Probably a blessing in disguise as we had heard it was a shit show (1st night open to public) and their food was just OK. Spinning Jenny - Coffee shop inside hotel but open to public. Had amazing bagels (Montreal style) and awesome pastries from Rover Bagel/ Little Spruce Baking. Palace Diner - teeny classic diner, and heard food was amazing. Unfortunately, their ventilation hood died and they were just serving a few items. Had the browned butter banana bread and a cup of coffee (both great) and headed home. What an awesome little city overall, will def be back!
