So, after trying SN Bigfoot (and yes I had the 2012 fresh, and it was fairly tasty) and the claims people have to the aging properties of the beer, I want to know who has the biggest vertical collection.

I've seen on eBay and heard from people that they have most of the 2000's, but does anyone go back to when it first was produced?

I'm sure a bunch of people on here have some bottles from the 90s in their cellars.

I've got 92 to 2012. And I also have a bottle of 1987 and 1986 (before they started dating them). Albeit, I only have one bottle of each year up to 2007. On a side note...ISO 88, 89, 90, 91 Bigfoot!

My father in law has a few 1991's. Had one last month. Quite an experience. Could barely detect the alcohol; it was more of a syrup than anything.

Going back to 1983/4 when the label was black and white and the cap was gold.

Super jealous of all those who have old Bigfoot. Bigfoot has got to be one of the best aged beers. The older the better. I've only had an '06 - '12 and I'm always looking for more and older!

IIRC the brewery was moving or expanding or something. It was a brewery only release.

This is an old thread an not sure anyone will see this. I am looking to fill gaps in my collection in the 80's and 90's. Currently my oldest Bigfoot vintage is 86 (only one left!). Any serious collectors out there want to talk?

Correct. I was brewery only that year, so it's just got the standard cap of the day (I think mine is a blue cap with the logo).

I had 2 each 2002 to 2013, and hosted a Bigfoot Dinner serving up a sample of 2 different years (one newer one older) with each course - cooked with and/or paired with Barleywine beers. They were wonderful and thought they peaked at '07 and '06 with the port like qualities, but still the character coming through in a condensed version. The '03 and '02 were completely flat with very little non-syrup character. Topped off the meal with the Barrel-aged Bigfoot served with S'mores made with dark Chocolate and homemade Barley Wine Marshmallows.

A good friend has a few bottles of each year from 1986-1999, then a full case from 2000-up. I've been asking him to do a vertical for a while now but he's not ready to pull the trigger. No rush really.

2002-2012. All I needed was to wait few months to add 2013 and BA bigfoot. Oh well what's done is done.
