As I recall, the Stone Berlin crowd fundraiser had a bumpy start due to the same issues. Then Stone started adding value to the premiums and the funding also increased. I tend to view crowd funding not as an investment because after you donate and they give you the reward, you are no longer invested financially. I suppose you could say it's an "investment in the future"?

 

If you have the confidence to open your own business, I would like to assume you could get private investors rather easily. I mean that is how people have been starting up for years. I really hope they can get funded and look forward to trying their beers in 3 to 5 years. Just tired of all this crowd funding. Also, get off my lawn!
