    Hey guys,

I am thinking of trying to land this little piggy and I was wondering if anyone has traded one or traded for one lately and what exactly it was that it took to get it done. I want to put together an offer but I don't want to insult people's intelligence on here. Also if you have one shoot me a BM I know the Bruery accidently released some again a few days ago so I know there are a few more floating around.

    Cheers

I remember when they released 1 case by accident around Christmas. I didn't hear anything about recently though.

Yeah when they just released BT 10' for the anniversary month they "accidently" released another case of 09'

I heard only 6 bottles got out before they recognized the mistake.

2009 Black Tuesday is a difficult bottle to get. Not Framboos difficult but probably 750ml Blabaer territory. I suppose maybe a combo of Rare and KH may get it done. I haven't seen it traded recently but I think I remember a bottle being traded for Veritas 010 a little while ago. Hope this helps!

I can safely say that '09 Black Tuesday was one of the best beers I've ever had. I wish you luck, sir!

Has anyone had a 2009 and then a 2010 or 2011? If so what's the biggest difference between 2009 and the other vintages that makes it so special?

I had a 2011 at a new years eve party and thought it was good but GI BCS tasted about the same and could be had for less $$$. $30 a 750ml is roughly $15 a 12oz bottle...$60 a 4pack is crazy money when I can just get BCS for $25 a 4pack and soon it may even be year round.

We did a vertical tasting the night before Dark Lord Day, and the biggest difference with the 2009 was just how unbelievably smooth it was. I personally prefer a little heat, so the 2010 was my favorite, but most people were just blown away by the '09.

I have to agree with Jeff and Mark. I just opened a bottle last week with a good buddy who is into bourbon and isn't a beer geek. I opened it next to a BCBS'11 and 50/50 EC 18yr to pull a decent spectrum of BA RIS. He thought the BT'09 was incredible...then decided to pour the last 25ml into his glass (asshole!) while I went to the bathroom. Oh well.
