I understand completely. I don't fault places for charging as much as the market will permit them. However, when there are other places locally selling the same thing for a fraction of the price, it makes it really hard to patronize the former. I have a place local to me that I'm fond of, but they have THE worst prices both on draft, and in their bottle shop. I still go on occasion, but only if they have something I simply haven't been able to nail down anywhere else. Truthfully, the best prices for beer around here are at Whole Foods. By a wide margin too. I like patronizing the local establishments, but when they jack the prices of shit up to such ridiculous levels, I go to WF more out of spite than the lower prices.

Where in PA? I bought a bottle in WF in PA and it was $9.99. Are you talking about growler fill?

And to get back on topic, Bo & Luke was briefly here in NYC and LI. A lot of bottles were lost when the delivery van was stolen with the beers inside. Price was @ $20 per bottle, limit one per person.
