Did you happen to notice if they were filling growlers other than their own? I'll be in the area in a few weeks, so I'll be planning on grabbing a few to go.

Good question, didn't notice and I'm interested about that too, would tend to believe they're like everyone else and filling anybodys growlers, but I dropped them an email and asked the question, will re-post when they re-ply

    Thanks a lot.

I'll also bring my own glass anyway if you don't get a response, and report back if need be.

Here's the good news, cut-n-pasted from the email....

Yes we absolutely fill all growlers! You can bring any growler in and we will be happy to fill it. Hope to see you soon.

    Cheers,

stopped by for my 2nd visit and re-confimed my like for 'Le grand' their Belgian pale ale.

got a quick chat with the family owner from Florida, seems they invested in this 'high efficiencty brewing system' from which you get better yields, less energy and higher quality. Expensive but pays off in the long run, easier to brew and get quality. Googled around and found this explaination of this new to me system:

interesting... seems kind of like that kind of place too (based on what i've seen in pics/heard from friends).. not that there is anything wrong with it.. i imagine many more will go this kind of route in the coming years as new breweries keep opening. To me though when it starts to become more science and machines and button pressing to me it kind of stops becoming craft... maybe it's kind of like analog and digital.. idk.. i'm rambling but the above really doesn't make me want to go drink bonesaw beer and pay a premium to do so

Anyone know if they post an updated tap list somewhere?

They had one of their beers on tap last night at the BB&T Pavilion concert venue in Camden. Had never heard of them before, had to quick look up to make sure they weren't some faux-craft brand. They should probably update their website so say they've opened.....

Anyway, I had their NE-style DIPA, which at 9% abv I was surprised they served in a 24 oz cup like the other beers. It was pretty good.

Side note - I hadn't been to a concert there in like 10 years and was pleasantly surprised at all the local (Yards, Victory, Sly Fox, DFH, Neshaminy, Double Nickel) and national craft beers that were available.
