I've been trying to land some and I'm starting to think it's not going to happen. I offered up some Half-Acre/ FFF's Shewolf and Founders FMB and didn't even get a sniff. I know FMB's not trading for much these days but thought that with the She Wolf it could land me one. In other words do you think I shouldn't waste my time trying or is Bonnie just not released everywhere yet or do I just not have enough to pull it off. Any advice is welcome. Thanks, Mark
It should be everywhere that is going to get it by middle of next week, so try something again at that time. Obviously the more that is out there the better chance you have of landing one.
I have no idea how hard it will be to obtain in DFW and I'm sure if I'm working the day it starts showing up, I'm less likely to get some. I have a couple of other people I want to take care of first but if I happen to get more than 3 or 4 bottles, I'll trade ya one for something on my wants ($4$) or whatever else sounds good, provided you haven't landed a bottle by that point. I know how much you want this bottle, I think your ISO was up before it was even released, lol. I'll keep ya updated. Just saw you live in IN, my next "always want" that I would be looking for is schafly pumpkin, just an FYI in case I get a bottle
You definately have enough. As I understand it's a very low bottle count (~100 cases). It has only hit a few markets and has been 1 bottle limit at any reported location. I've heard Tuesday it will start making it's way..maybe aim to post wednesday morning.
Bonnie and Jester King in general has some very fucked up distribution. They're distributed by a wine company (Virtuoso) who has it as the only beer in their lineup. I live 10 miles from where they brew the beer and I've barely seen it yet. I've only actually heard of three cases actually going up for sale in town thus far (1 case each to Whip In, South Lamar Wine & Spirits, and Sunrise Minimart). 3/4 of Jester King goes to Austin, believe it or not, so there should be a bunch more coming this week. I don't even believe Bonnie is making it out of the state (they also distribute a tiny bit in Chicago/Illinois, California, Alabama, and sometimes UK/Denmark).
