This is fantastic and so smooth
    - How does the ingredient list/grain bill relate to the regular Sip of Sunshine?
    - And, is it thinking of Vermont, or do I get a hint of Maple sweetness?

    Thanks, Sean (from New England)

Sean, good seeing you on the fest stream, I met you back at Two Roads CT collaboration, quick question, with the Finishing up on COVID will you have more collaborations with breweries in New England?

My first Lawson's was a trade from a BA that grabbed a numbered bottle of Fayston from Sean (as reported to me) at a farmer's market. Wonderful stuff.

Thanks for replying to others’ questions, Sean. First online fest and enjoying your livestream.

Etiquette might dictate removal of the photo (mods, feel free to edit it out), but three of us got to try it here and all thoroughly enjoyed it. Surprised to see the “Little” was 6.2% (shows how much research I did for this).

The Maple Triple is a sublime drink. Not an everyday sipper, but I'd love to hit it yearly.

Thanks a lot Sean, it was great to hear from you! I've had the privilege to try a couple of your beers now, and have loved each of them. I was super excited to see that you were included in the box. Hopefully I can make it to the northeast soon so I can have a few more! Cheers!

Hi Acrosa7794, There's a little bit above in the question about how we started Lawson's Finest. The short answer is that by 2013 (5 years into our journey) the demand for our beer was overwhelming. My wife Karen and I were not ready to hire a bunch of employees. We had young kids and wanted to focus on quality of life, plus we didn't have the capital to build a production brewery. After reading about Two Roads plans to open a brewery that would include contracting for "today's craft brewer" with Phil Markowski and a team of industry veterans, I met them to discuss the idea of brewing an IPA there. And as they say, the rest is history! For a little more history, read this article:

Hey Seanweizen, the recipe is almost the same as the Sip of Sunshine, except we use less malted barley (recipe is exactly proportional for each malt) to make the alcohol finish at 6.2%. There is no maple in there, but there should be a little malt sweetness to balance the hop-forward profit on this beer.

Foam is beer! haha Thanks Jaycase for invoking Charlie Bamforth. Brilliant guy. Before cold and fresh were the industry standard, Charlie was preaching that the most important factors to beer quality are time and temperature. Keep it cold and enjoy it fresh! Amen

    Hi Sean

thanks for adding little sip to the fest lineup. Love the sunshine and am happy to see it regularly on the shelves in the Boston area.

Any plans for double sip to appear on the shelves? Last saw it a year ago and it quickly disappeared.
Stay safe , be well , brew more Lawsons!

    prosit!

Hey WunderLlama, Thanks for the props! We only sell our Double Sunshine IPA at our brewery and taproom location in Waitsfield, VT (except for a special drop or two). Our Ruby Red Grapefruit Double Sunshine IPA is a "once a year beer" that has been so incredibly popular...we have to unleash it a little wider next year :sunglasses:

Sean- Hope you're still following the thread. No question, just a shout out. Thank you for the effort with Two Roads. I've lived in CT my entire life and have stated many times on BA that Sip (original) is my "house beer". Despite all my other beer purchases, I almost always have some in the beer fridge.
Can't wait for the right post-pandemic situation and some spare time in my own schedule to visit your new facility in VT!
