Born Yesterday and Harvest Ale

I recently had Born Yesterday against Victory Harvest Ale, and Born Yesterday was the clear winner even though the Victory beer was quite good too.

 

Can you describe what were the things that led you to prefer the Founders over the Victory?

 

heard some opinions that Born Yesterday was pretty bad and just hype.

tried it for myself and I thought i was exceptional.

 

THIS is the first Harvest Ale I really enjoyed, therefore it's the first one that comes to mind for me.

 

I am really bad at this sort of thing, meaning I have trouble identifying certain flavor characteristics in similar tyle beers, but I just thought the Founder's flavor had a little more punch (and I don't mean in the way that the higher ABV would provide).

 

I had high expectations for Born Yesterday because of the way Lagunitas was promoted. Not disappointed, exceptional beer. As to the comparisons my first thought when tasting Born Yesterday is that it tasted very similar to FOUNDERS Harvest Ale. Both are obviously great but Born Yesterday is slightly better IMO and also a much better price point.

 

I thought Born Yesterday was AMAZING!

 

Born Yesterday is one of the best beers I've had this year, so sad it's almost gone already in my area.
