intense red 16€
cuvee armand&gaston 66 for 12
Zenne is so amazing but so hard to find, think the whole stock of 4.000 bottles is gone by now....
Next batch in 2017?
there's still some bottles floating around...
new batch 05/2017 is what I've heard.
Floating around indeed but at high high prices.
Okay, I am looking fowrad to that batch
Does anyone have any information about timing of a next batch of Framboos or Hommage?
There is a new batch of Hommage in bottles and it should be released sometime in 2017.
Great, I was there one month ago and they sold the zenne package with the sherry. Amzaing stuff.
If the hommage happens let me know.
Was just there a couple days after Christmas tasting. Sherry pack was great as well. Amazing stuff. That 20 year is like liquefied raisins.
I somehow managed the trick of going to the Beersel restaurant *since* the Lot location opened, without remember to ask this question: Are there still any bottle sales in Beersel (whether at resto or brewery) at take-away (in other words not resto menu) prices? Or have all bottle sales migrated down the road to Lot? (Sounds somehow biblical.)
Has anyone been recently and have any updates on what's available? Thanks!
Nothing special, maybe they still have the Zenne package with two sherry's for 195€, you can mail them about it. Great stuff! I bought it 3 weeks ago.
I will be in Brussels for a day in a few weeks but won't have a chance to make it here. It was either here or Cantillon and I wont even be there for more than an hour or two. Any local beer bars or restaurants in brussels carry 3F?
The Moeder Lambic bars, Bier Circus, Nuetnigenough and La Brocante have, or have had, it. Plus some of the specialist shops like Bier Tempel and Beer Mania. Not sure about La Fleur en Papier Doré.
But as I always add, seek out and try all the other lambic makers besides C and 3F, if you can. Also great.
Oh of course. This is all new to me.
You can also check out Le Poechenellekelder They had a nice selection of Cantillion and other gems.
When I went to the tasting room a couple weeks ago, the wifi directed me to a page with prices and I thought it might help people plan out their trips:
The menu link on their site doesn't include prices and I'm pretty sure this is the same thing they have on the screens at the store.
When does 3 fonteinen sell their other beers besides the regular ones that are avail year round?
Seems that i always pass there when nothing special is available.
Your best bet is either Open Beer Days or Tour de Geuze, although I'm not too sure about the take-away list during the latter.
any update on bottles for sale
For how much do the regular 3 fonteinen oude geuze sell for takeaway? (and how many bottles a person?)
375s sell for around 5€. I don't exactly remember the limit but it was at least 12 bottles, if not more.
At my local drink shop, just a mile from lot a 75 cl bottle is around 7.50 and the 37 ones are 4,50/5 I think
Worth the trip to go to Lambik-O-Droom, now that they opened their cellar (Vintage 08 20 euro, Zenne 60 euro).
Takeaway is currently: Geuze, Kriek, Intense Red (max 3).
I visited yesterday for the first time and honestly I was disappointed. The shop had a total of 3 beers and the cafe was very expensive (for me anyway) Me and my girlfriend ended up having a drink at our local bar/brewery 'Den herberg' a 5 minute drive in Buizingen
Was this a to-go price?
Zenne is on-site only. 60€
I thought it was 195 euro for three bottles: 1 Zenne and two vintage sherrybottles. I normally don't drink wine, but these sherry's are really good.
That was limited availability.
And yes, the Sherry is amazing. Both very different, but equally great in their own right.
My favorite was the oloroso. The other one was a bit too sweet for me.
I have a sweet tooth, so I did enjoy it. But I would probably agree that the Oloroso was my favorite as well.
To go 21/04
Oude geuze 37,5/75
Intense red, a whole crate in the shop. Doesn't seem to sell very well, quite expensive at 16,00 a bottle
Apparently Golden blend will be in the shop with Tour de geuze
Do you know if this will be the 2014 version? or a newer batch? Thanks for the update.
I'll be at 3F one week after Tour de G. Any chance golden blend would still be available then?
Yes, there is a chance
Looking to be visiting on Friday. Any lists for on site and to go? Also is there any tips for visiting?
On-site list is on their website. Starting tomorrow, I believe the To Go bottles are:
Any idea if these are going to be new batches of Hommage and Golden?
It sounds like it.
