I love Buried Hatchet and I think this is a fantastic idea. Also, for people that cellar, how has Buried Hatchet aged??

I had heard through "sources," and my sources have been questioned before, but this confirms it.

I've had 2-3 yo cans that were just as good as fresh ones, though I don't think the flavors change much over time.

So I just found a Chili's off of 288 in Pearland that is starting to do craft beers. Had buried hatchet and Karbachtoberfest there last night. they are having a Pumpkinator night on the 29th and Krunkin Punkin on the 30th. I usually cant stand going to chain restaurants, but this one is trying something different.

Ronnie edited his response in the blog. It will be coming out in bottles not cans.

Why in the world did someone see it imperative to edit the title to be (in cans) instead of (IN CANS)?

It did seem odd that it said it would be in was 11.2 oz cans.

I knew that (OCD beer cellar nerd I am). :)

It's just weird to see a US brewery use that size. Seems like they would use this new fangled 12oz bottle I've been hearing about. I think they'd cost less in the long run.

I find it hard to believe this is going to be in bottles... what, are they renting a bottling line?

Seems like a lot of work to make the portion 0.8oz less.

I've said it before, but it's worth repeating:

    Barreled Hatchet.

    That is all.

I've only seen it listed as Anvil BBA BH, with occasional Barreled Hatchet; Bourbon Hatchet seems acceptable, as well.
