It would be pretty krunkin bodacious if a company that only does cans released beer in bombers ;)

These aren't bombers... they are 11.2oz as opposed to 12oz.

Apparently I'm the only one that thinks it's strange that a canning brewery that makes all their product in American-sized cans (12oz and 16oz) would want to use bottles in European increments... especially a size so incrementally smaller than the size they're already using (and probably own significant can stock for).

Heck, they slap labels on their special release cans because they need to order such a significant amount of them that it doesn't make financial sense for them to order new cans for each of their releases.

Ooooh, yeah thats odd I doubt they would bother with anything but Bombers.

They are also going to start cork and caging their releases of Le Mort Vivant. So it makes sense to invest in a bottling line, I guess.

    From the article:
"This new bottling system will allow Southern Star to package bourbon-barrel-aged versions of its Buried Hatchet stout in 11.2-ounce cans bottles. That will be followed next year, Hamm said, by cork-and-wire 750 ml bottles of Le Mort Vivant."

Is Blond Ambition a sort of variant of LMV? I was pretty
sure that one was a a Blonde Biere De Garde as well?
