Bourbon County Stout in DC/VA this week?

Got 3 bottles of BCBS from Rodman. They had two 4p left but said we could only take 3 (which doesn't make sense tbh). Another guy and I grabbed three so there should be two bottles left. That was around 11:30 am or so.

Magruders sells them in 4p if you ask, not sure how much they have left. Was about $27 including tax.

 

is this coming south of DC, as in, Richmond, VA?

I was told by someone at Total Wine that as of now Virginia will not be getting any BCBS, something having to do with the distributor. However, he told me this could possibly change.

 

They tweeted that they saved 6 bottles to give away:
"We basically sold out of the bourbon county but we kept 6 bottles to GIVE away. If you want them then like us and tell us why you want them".
I guess they took one from each of the two 4-packs to complete the six .

 

Total Wine never gives a straight answer and most of them don't know shit. They didn't know when KBS was coming when it was a week out from hitting places. I've been told by someone from Brown that Richmond in particular will receive a healthy amount of BCBS. It's coming, and should land in the next couple weeks or so.

Goose Island is distributed through Brown here. I'll pick up some at a couple places most likely, but I'm closest to Once Upon A Vine. Should be more than enough to go around.

 

Connecticut Ave still has bottles for $6.99 on the shelf, limit 2.

I have received good news today from friends of Brown.

 

P street whole foods also got bottles yesterday, 15 cases, they're in the back and you have to ask for them. 1 4-pack limit at $22.99. I'm not sure how long they're going to last, apparently they're going quickly.

 

Whole Foods on Wisconsin also has it in stock. They had about 20-25 4 packs on display near their beer section. 23 dollars and no signs limiting the amount you can purchase.
