No speak so far so I reckoned that I would post it.

    A classic Austrian pear Brandy.

You may have seen the tiny sampler bottles in the shape of a violin.

It should come as no surprise, but one of my favorite was Gran Duque D'Alba.

If you're a fan of sherry or sherry matured scotch, do yourself a favor.

I'm a purist I guess. I rarely drink brandy, but when I do, it pretty much has to be an XO from the cognac region.

Used to slum on occasion with a Hennessey VSOP, but I'm too old to mess around with that stuff any more.

Just for the folks who don't know. VSOP stands for Very Superior Old Pale and XO stands for Extra Old.

Some Calvados as an aperitif while killing time before GoT finale.

Good evening, all! Rémy Martin V.S.O.P. For medicinal purposes, of course. Very fruity on the nose. Lots of green apple, with notes of vanilla and clove. Spicy and a little smoky on the palate, and a tad boozy on the finish with lingering hints of green apple. I could get used to this. Santé!
