That’s a killer line up right now. I should have known everything would be to go only at the moment.

Yeah, I do have to tell you that my friend was there on Tuesday, January 12 at 4:51 PM Brussels time and 50N and brabantiae were not available/on the board but Loriek still was. Apparently it was pulled off the board sometime just after lunch

For once, a Cantillon online sale that didn't involve a server melting down.

Missed out, but definitely appreciate this change to the process. When there's that much demand, an element of randomness seems like the most fair for their worldwide customers.

I liked the rando thing, but just wish it would have booted everyone from queue once it sold out. I was close, but not close enough. I saw someone at 2800 say they got bottles.

That would have been nice, yeah, but I assume there's technical limitations to the setup. I was at 4k-ish and saw it through just in case -- it's not like keeping the tab open was much extra work to endure, especially because it gave me a (fairly accurate) wait estimate.

yeah it was super easy to just hop into the queue and wait for your random number. some how there were still idiots who couldn't figure that out though LOL.

I’m happy I got one, but even if I hadn’t I think the new system is way less stressful than the refresh/server crash process of before. So I’ll take it.

Would love for everyone stateside here in this thread to come back if you open Drogone to describe your experience with it. It's the only one I hadn't had, and was planning to do some side by sides with the other grape lambics to compare/contrast.

I started at 2526 & when the page opened up it had the Add Cart button & when I clicked it the banner said Sorry the Cantillon Spring Pack is gone. Lower on the page it said they were verifying stock so don't close out. About 5 min later there was blue banner saying a pack has been added to your cart so I went to the cart & checked out.

I think the delay in saying sold out is that you have X number buying the last of the stock & each has 5min to complete the sale then Cantillon verifies payments/multiple buyers/etc before allocating the remaining packs to carts. Rinse, repeat and that can take some time especially if people leave their device & don't see that the pack was added to the cart and it expires

Aren't we supposed to get a confirmation email receipt at some point? I'm paranoid I fat-fingered my email during my order. Anyone get one yet?

Confirmation emails from the online sale were sent almost instantaneously. Definitely something wonky going on if you didn’t receive one...

    Happy Friday, everyone!

Anyone in the U.S. receive their spring pack through Etre yet? Etre shipped extremely fast but now my box and another buddy's have been at the customs facility in Chicago for over a week now. I'm getting a tad inpatient over here (obviously nothing I can do about it) and wondering what others have experienced...

    Cheers!

My box has also been sitting in Chicago customs for a week now, so your beer has company at least

After yours likely shipped to the states, BPost seems to have hit a snag lately too. I've had an Etre box sitting there for 2 weeks.

Mine arrived almost three weeks ago but because I'm on the West Coast, I paid for the DHL option. It took four days door-to-door.

Stumbled upon some Rose de Gambrinus that was bottled November of 2020. I've never seen such fresh cantillon in my life. Does anyone know if they've got a new importer or is this just the result of Shelton liquidating their stock?
