I'm sure to give it a mess unless it turns up at a tasting. I won't even go to £11 for their 330ml San Diego Scotch Ale though I'm really keen to try it.

Yeah I think i'll prob give it a miss - unless a decent online company stocks it and quite a bit cheaper (I won't order from Brewdog cos it was a right ordeal last time i ordered some beers).

I looked at the San Diego but 11 quid is too much for just 330ml!!

Oh well, I'll stick to my Asda 4 for £5! :-)

What about beers of europe where if you buy like 20 bottles you get a massive discount of 4p per bottle or something like that.

I don't care about the marketing being bullshit- this is just how they are. I do think they should get someone with a better literary flair to do it though. I don't care if they want to charge £X's for X amount of beer. I don't care if they brew a rauch bier with distilled clown tears just so they can call it 'Smokey Robinson'. What I do care about is the fact that they block any comments on their site that are remotely critical- this isn't punk; this is weak and makes me lose a shit-tonne of respect for them.

Funny, most Scots who know about beer and know about BrewDog actually gets excited by them. But the hardcore purist Scottish beer nuts only rate them a little about Innes & Gunn.

Ok, old topic, but I write anyway.

Seems that many of you complaint about Ghost deer price. Well... The base beer is aged many different barrels (whisky, bourbon, rum and sherry) for 6 months and then blended. Actually 5,99 is not that bad. I tried it, and it was quite nice. Aroma was actually really good, but there was too much alcohol burn in the taste (which wasn't surprize). So... it is worth to try IMO. Still I wouldn't buy it again.

I am not a big brewdog fan either. I still usually try their beers, when I see new ones. Some of those are actually really, really good. Many of them are still meh.

Btw. How much you pay bottle of Utopias?

Thing is, if BD were honest Ghost Beer would actually be dispensed out of the Stag's arse.

Price per ml you could buy a £75 bottle of whisky.

Have a think about that next time you try this.

Or for that price exactly 2 bottles of really nice Buxton, Kernel etc (if you dislike whisky like me)

True. But it's about the postmodern experience. And also, being a total MUG.

I'll tell you if it was worth it when I muster the courage to piss a tenner away...
