Great article. Bhutan would be a fascinating country to visit. I was in nearby Nepal once, and while I loved it there, the beer absolutely sucked.

I just wanted to say this entire article was exceptionally well written and engaging. It really evoked the rural countryside of Bhutan, and the cultural significance of their drinks. Thank you for sharing.

How interesting and well written! I've yet to travel further East than France, but visiting Bhutan sounds just lovely between the beautiful landscapes, people, and brews!

Very cool article and great lesson on the region and people. Amazing how peaceful the area looks compared to our modern society, seems like time stood still.
