Hot days like today remind me of the time I went to Trillium back in early February and had their "Pier: Wheat Ale" to sample. It was so good that I got a growler of it. Only one problem: the bartender told me and my buddies that they weren't going to brew this anymore for some time due to lack of popularity/sales.

I've had some good Wheat Ales but this one was awesome, especially for hot summer days. Whose with me on this one?

What beer(s) would you like to see come back?

SA Noble Pils as a summer seasonal 6 pack
Sierra Nevada Kolsch (my favorite Kolsch)

I'll think of more but these 2 are the easy ones.

I thought Pier was a seasonal, though it looks like it is on their website's lineup to be released in the coming weeks or months. It may even come in 16oz. cans... Your gift has been granted. http://www.trilliumbrewing.com (under their current beer selection in Canton)

I personally liked Stone's Sublimely Self-Righteous Black IPA that I got to try in their recent mixed 12 pack. I'd like to see that come back. Pretty much any really good retired or one-off beer I'd like to see brought back. I don't think I've tried too many beers that are no longer brewed.

Make sure to check the site and twitter in the coming weeks, and plan to make your trip to get it. I haven't tried it yet so I'm really looking forward to it as well.

Sucks, that didn't suck. They definitely changed it, abv used to be lower by a touch and everything from the color to the hop profile changed. I'm not one of those, this beer taste off people, it definitely changed.

El Jefe by Alchemist. Now that they're up and running with the new facility I wouldn't be surprised to see some old favorites.

If I can choose two... Wild Goose Oatmeal Stout and Pete's Wicked Ale circa 1996 or so (the latter already suggested above). Both would of course require resurrection not merely of a beer, but of a brewery. Sigh.

For a one-time try to see if I would take the next step and go all in on a thread like this:

Southern Tier Farmer's Tan Imperial Pale Lager (they re-used the name for a different beer about 2ish years ago).

At the time it retired, I really enjoyed the beer. Given the ratings, maybe I was the only one. But I'd like to find out what I think now - after a couple years of palate shifting beers :relaxed:.
