Bruery 2015 RS/HS Allocations

There most likely will be but remember we get in an hour early. Thats the main benefit for this year.

Now we just need to all work together to find out what beer everyone wants the most and make sure we kill the keg. I'm thinking if all hoarders + 3 guests drink nothing but rare barrel when we get there we can make sure its all gone.

 

Firestone two weeks after. And just the general stupid amounts of money I've spent on beer already this month. Ha.

 

While that would be a super dick move, I would be rather impressed if you could pull that off. But I would also be sad since I am one of those lowly RS members that needs to drink more TRB.

However if you want a hint as to what we are all after. It is what Green Flash is bringing....yeah..that's it...go drink theirs.

 

theres a girl on the bruery FB asking over and over what the bruery is gonna do to avoid HS killing off all the "good" beers before RS can even get in. if you guys were able to pull this off, her head would explode. lol

 

I didn't want to post a pic since most of mine get taken down, but yes...super impressed if you could do it. If you drink teh TRB that is fine...I'll be over getting Windowsill.

 

Done. Maybe ill purchase a extra ticket so i can get two glasses and hoard the tastings!

 

New life goal, finish all the TRB by 1:55 and then get in line for windowsill...I'm not that greedy, I'll leave some of that for you

 

Anyone had any of the Bagby beers?

Yeah, honestly, not impressed, especially considering all the awards the brewer has won. They are super crisp clean beers but there is nothing impressive about them. Its a standard IPA, a standard irish stout, etc.

 

The beer I've had from Bagby has been quite impressive. But I haven't had either of those.

 

We'll see, the last bottle of mine we opened a few weeks ago was not very good.

 

Anyone have an extra ticket or two to the anniversary party? I already maxed mine (yep, all 1 of them) and have a few friends who want to go.

 

Nobody celebrating about Highland Park's beers? You guys are all missing out.

 

I actually thought about that but considering I haven't tried them I dont know where it sits on my 1-10 of excitement scale. I do want to check out cherry ****z though.

 

Yep - marked their 3 offerings all GREEN on my spreadsheet as must tries ... as opposed to the two from Green Flash marked red And yes, I admit it, I have a SPREADSHEET!

How crowded does the Anniversary Party get? Are the lines usually pretty organized?

 

If you are HS, then yes. If you are RS, there is a murder pit where the HS guys can bet their super huge whalezbrah beers on the 2 RS guys that enter and the winner wins an entry into the lottery to be able to get in line. =P
