Yup, glad it was implemented. Since the employees are already asking to see the membership card when you turn in that tasting sheet anyways I wouldn't think it would require any extra effort to check for growler fills.

Better late than never imo.

 

Glad they did this. Wish it would have been that way from the beginning but at least they realized the mistake and corrected it, instead of standing by the original dumb rule.

 

Sweet... too bad they still haven't given me my membership card. March they said...

 

I've been an RS member since the first year and generally pick up bottles at the pickup place 2-3 times a year. It's usually 25-30 bottles when I'm picking up. I always email ahead and send a list of all the bottles my records indicate I should be able to pick up.

I would say that almost without fail, there are bottles missing when I pick up. Happened yet again last weekend. I've learned to double-check everything with my own eyes and not take the attendant's word for it, let alone just drive off with the boxes without looking. The attendant is always quick to remedy the situation (and quick to blame someone else for the error), but why is this still happening so regularly after so long?

Meanwhile, so happy to buy more Filmishmish today!

 

That's weird, im relatively new (PS last year RS this year_) but in my 3 times picking up they have gone through every box and every beer with me and never had anything missing. Also last time I was there they were doing this for a hoarder in front of me for his entire 2015 purchase and I was waiting for nearly 40 minutes. Nothing missing there either (except maybe a second person to help other customers of course!)

 

I went earlier this year to grab my remaining 2015 and 1 order was missed and of course I didn't realize it until I had gotten home. Eventually I will drink Mother Funker....eventually.

 

so when you sign the multiple receipts, does the count not line up, or are they giving you extra of something? i've had a few slip through the crack, but it's usually pretty obvious when it's not checked off on one of the receipts.

 

I am having my trustee pickup my 2016 howler today, anyone know if it will fit in a shipper spot?

 

yes.

he may have to mess with the top section depending on the shipper, but mine came through just fine.

 

I don't mean to be a douche, but that might be your problem right there. A large number of bottles might make it more difficult for them to process the order. I've always done 12 at a time (since I have to ship), and I have't had a problem in 3 years.
