Had a pour of the Hoarder's Cuvee at the tasting room... and it was tart and boozy. Not really for me.

I too saw the list of adjuncts and immediately aimed to dislike the Terruex Cuvée. I even brought it to a share so I wouldn't have to consume the whole thing myself. Man was I wrong, it was actually a favorite of the night.

I opened up a bottle at a share and there wasn't a single person that enjoyed it. So yeah, definitely polarizing.

So I am on Bruery website and RS howler fill of Beffuddlement is $24 at The OG Bruery tasting room, and it is $25 at the Terreux tasting room. Melange 3 is $28 at The OG Bruery tasting room, and it is $30 at the Terreux tasting room. What gives?! @BruerJoel

Bruerysocieties just posted on IG that the Cascade collab is a barrel aged sour tripel with Meyer lemons, due later this year

Isn't this the case with many Bruery beers?

Not really. The biggest ones I can think of were L'deracola, Floyd D'Rue, Tumescence, Smoking Woods.
Beers that were outright bad were Ebony & Oak, Praecocia, Roble Blanco, Couverteur and Soroboruo.
Most people seem to generally like or really like the rest of the beers. Or at least there isn't a lot of talk about how bad/polarizing they are. The above are 9 beers out of a few hundred labels here on BA.

Derde Golf was the biggest WTF the first time I tried it. 2nd time around it was much better. I know this can also happen when one taste is from a bottle and another is from tap (with any beer).

You know how CaliforniaWildAles started a membership, and took money, but hasn't produced anything yet for their members? Yeah....that, but on the opposite coast and I think some extra bullshit thrown in for funsies.

I personally enjoyed Soroboruo. I still have a bottle of Roble Blanco. Personally L'deracola was bad but they hit the mark with what they were trying to do. Just not a flavor many people want in beer. Floyd D'Rue was also interesting but overall kind of a dud. I still have a bottle of that one too. Did they stop fulfilling Couverteur due to infections? I think I remember getting a refund for that one.

The only thing that matters is he's putting out some of the best stouts and berliner in the country.

Haven't had his bottles but the draft pours of both MM and DFPF I had at rate beer best '16 and '17 were... I guess above average in all fairness... but also short of the status some ascribe. The color on DFPF was probably the most impressive thing to me. Straight up beet juice.

@mukesmemehouse on other beer forums there are well documented 100+ page threads that layout the 2 year trail of misery that he put his crowdsource supporters through. Cliffnotes include making them wait years, serving the public first (and for cheaper) than his club members, zero communication, packaging flaws, open contempt for his club members in communication, etc etc etc. So regardless of where his quality is on the spectrum between average, above average, or the best in the country.. he has set the fecal standard for how a society should be run and how customers should be treated. and IMO, those things count regardless of what you can put in someones glass.

Yeah, I've read a bunch of comments of Florida forum's. Those people are still angry. (For good reason)

That being said, I hope this beer will be awesome!
