Bruery 2018 RS/HS Allocations

I bought it Saturday at like 2pm, that's available for at least 6 days.

 

I was thinking the same thing, if you want a beer really bad why wait so long to order it? The amount of salt from people when things sell out is impressive.

 

Cyber Monday sale is up, no BT 375ml

 

Completely underwhelming cybeer Monday "sale". I'm surprised Last Slice wasn't included, I could have used some more bud light lime in my life.

For those more familiar, is anything actually at sale price? Or is it more so just access to stuff we had the chance to buy before?

 

It's really just access, although the multi bottle sets are slightly discounted.

 

There’s a small discount being offered on a per bottle basis, but you have to purchase it as a bundled package. Theres not that much of a discount on a per bottle basis though

 

I think it's a good sale from which I'm choosing not to buy anything. The Solera Set and BT Barrel set would have been very attractive to me if I didn't already have a bunch, so for new folks maybe it's a win. Plus, they gotta keep some surprises up their sleeve for the Christmas Sale!

 

I've been a member for about 6 years and they used to allocate correctly. You had the ENTIRE time to buy. If there were extras they would tell you that these bottles are limited if you want to buy them do it fast. Now they just throw a random number out there for allocation and don't care that all of their members wont get to buy it. I am not salty when they sell out. I am salty because it should not sell out as a paying member to a club that guarantees access.

Anyways ISO Churriosity I guess...

 

I didn't have time to read the email and didn't buy any Churriosity either. It was available for 7 days exactly. I'll survive but it's kind of annoying.

This "sale" today is total garbage. Same stuff they've been recycling for months at the same price. Very lame, more annoying than the Churriosity listing time, actually.

I also agree that continuing to get targeted advertising for renewal is odd when I've already renewed. Not a very good use of money. I also thought it was disingenuous in one of the ads to show "Sunday Sundae" considering that was HS only and you would have no chance in the forseeable future if you joined RS.

 

You must not be keeping up with your checkins on the app. I have 24 bottles of Last Slice available for purchase.

 

Same here, got busy at work, got busy at life...read the Last Chance e-mail, and it was only available as a single 16oz can, whereas the 4 pack was unavailable. Oh well, I'll either wait for it to go on sale again, or I'll just miss this...which is a bummer, as I had an idea ~18 months ago to make a home brew version of something similar.

 

Not only did they say in the churriossity release email that it was limited, they sent an email out the week before saying they couldn't guarantee availability for everyone if you waited on it. There was plenty of warning.

 

That's actually not true. What you are referencing was SHITwC:

They also said BT18 was going to sell out/limited availability several times, and that also was not true as it was reallocated 3 or 4 times.

I am searching "Churriosity" in my email and there is absolutely nothing that sounds even remotely like what you are saying.

 

The Churro email stated it would only be available for 1 week, 11/19-11/25.

 

Regardless of what the messages did or didn't say, I'm fully behind what I think your larger point is: why offer allocations of 16 cans when there was a risk of running out, when they could have done 4 can allocations that were guaranteed, followed by a non-guaranteed second chance sale.

E-mailed on 11/19. I waited until the 22nd to order it and maxed out. Someone else said they were able to order on the 24th, so I don't really understand all the issues.

But on the subject of churriosity, hoping they have it on tap this weekend to finally try it.

 

I am generally a Bruery apologist, but after trying it in the tasting room it was an easy pass for me (not a fan of cinnamon beers). I thought the ShitWC on the other hand was worth maxing out on.
