Thanks Joel! Well, I didn't mess around. I already purchased mine. Now to figure out how I afford all the other beers this month...

    This, so much this.

Also, @BruerJoel: would the Small Batch box be ready to pick up today if a Hoarder happened to be in the neighborhood for work...?

Didn't see an email on this release. Anyone know if they are available for pickup this weekend?

I do believe so. All of the rest have been a beer from the Terreux side of things.

Yeah, I haven't seen any others. I sure hope this trend continues and we see all the big boys packaged in smaller bottles.

I enjoy it because I will no longer get the side-eye from the better half (well, at least for opening up beer bottles...I do plenty to still warrant the "look"), as well as groans from my board gaming group when they realize we have to finish it and somehow still be able to strategize and finish our game.

I am also more likely to buy 2 375s than a single 750...

does your better half give you that look when you're at a restaurant and you say to the waiter, "hold the avocado"?

Ha, thankfully no. But if my dish ends up coming with avocado she goes ahead and just eats it.

Having attempted to solo PB & Thursday with Jelly last night, I too am looking forward to more big beers in small packages. Also looking forward to "Out of the Lunchbox", coincidentally.

100% agree. I would buy 2 375s before a 750 every time. Although I used to finish an entire 750 (days of the week beers), it's a bit much. While I don't mind capping a 750 and finishing it the next day, I personally prefer variety. Knowing that I have to drink it the next day is a turn off. 375s solve that problem. I also see this as a way to avoid having a huge cellar. There have been many times when I pass on a big 750 and go to a smaller bottle. This just leads to boxes full of 750s everywhere!

Operative word is "attempted". There's about 1/4 of the bottle left. Corked and waiting for tonight.

Tried the 50/50 split on a couple of big beer's in the last couple of weeks and surprisingly it's worked out OK. Yeah, second day isn't as good, but still very tasty. That damn PB&TwJ was so smooth that I was like, "I can do this..." after the first half. I couldn't. At least my body wasn't cursing at me this morning.

139.99 plus tax (after HS discount).

153.99 total for me but i end up paying a little more because DC tax is higher than CA tax.

Plus $21 shipping if you aren't picking up ($171 total, with tax and shipping, for me in CA)

6 days? That's a one night deal right there. Have a few friends over, get some local pizza, play some Mario Kart, etc.

Happened to be in town today (due to some unfortunate circumstances), so I decided to see if I could pick up my Hoarders box... when I showed up, they had all of my outstanding orders boxed and ready to go. Since it was sudden, I was just hoping to get the Hoarders box... a huge shoutout to the Fufillment Staff for having everything set up on such short notice!

In my defense, I didn’t have a ton to pick up, it was a Monday in the middle of April. I would assume things are different the week leading up to the Anni party or the Pickup Deadline

Unless you're talking about the Hoarders Box, which comes in its' own box, my understanding is that the 375ml bottles each take up one spot in a standard box. About to schedule a shipper myself. But, it's going to be mostly 750's with a couple of CCR's in 375.

If they continue to offer both the 750 and 375 sizes, that will be the best of both worlds. If I was local I would be all over the 375s, but since it costs basically the same to ship either size, I will stick mostly to 750s.

Also cherry chocolate rain in 375s.... very into that!

Is cherry CR on draft now?

If so, any tasting notes? I was hoping it wasn't tart. But the label confirms it.

Check untappd, it's been on draft since SMM I think.

Nvm, looks like the only time it was on was that day, & at some other location

I have a friend in Cali who's a reserve member. He offered to get me a bottle of Etain.

Is Etain going to be hard to get or should all distributors who carry Bruery get it. I'd rather just get it locally to save the hassle.

Depends where you are, but I suggest checking your local stores to see if they stocked Saule last year. If so, reasonable chance they'll get Etain.

Also, for the last two years, the Anniversary ale was still on sale in the tasting room come Christmas, so you could wait and get one later if you don't see it right away near you.

Tart cherries are different from the tartness in mixed fermentation beer. CCR is still a clean beer (insert snide remarks about "for now at least"). Gebertzenkranszszd (sp?) used tart cherries. Did you find that one tart?

Okay. I know nothing about the process of beer. I just read labels and drink it!

No, i did not find gerbertz tart. Really enjoyed it, that's for sure. That's comforting then .

    Thank you
