I'm relatively new to the area. I really want to try some stuff from both of these breweries but have a problem pulling the trigger on the $15-20 bottles I see in the bottle stores. I saw that Oblivion had Autumn Maple on about a month ago and right before Zwanze, Redlight had Maracaibo Especial. Just wanted to ask those who've been in the area for a while which beers from these breweries you've seen on tap and where? I'll be continually checking for them but wanted to know if I'm better off just starting to grab some of the bottles.
    Thanks!

Bruery you'll find pop up here and there at all your local spots like Redlight, Oblivion, tap & grind, Gnarly Barley, Imperial, etc. Basically anyone that serves consistent craft brew and what is being offered at the time.

As for Jolly Pumpkin, they are no longer distributed directly to Florida unless something has changed. You'll find old bottles of their stuff from 2 years ago here and there, and Redlight recently had an older keg on but if I remember correctly, the folks that distribute Jolly Pumpkin as well as Allagash, pulled out of Florida over a dispute. Someone might be able to clarify this better.

Allagash pulled out of the state as a brewery about 2 years ago.

Jolly Pumpkin's distributor, Shelton Brothers, pulled out of the state because they intend to open their own distribution I hear. Any JP you see around right now is left over that's been on the shelves or in the distributors' warehouse since before the pull out.

Both do keg occasionally, JP more recently. Ive only seen a few year round/seasonals from Brueury on draft (namely Mischief and the collab with DFH at Tasty Beverage in Raleigh).

Ive seen Oro de Calabaza and La Parcela on at Milltown in Carrboro, NC once each.

Thanks guys! I'll start picking up the JP bottles when I see them.

I didn't know about Imperial Wine and Beer Garden, so thanks, blamethemovies.
