seriously? do you know the odds of one barrel "souring out well" much less enough for the amount of bottles they released?

So it's Stein's Throw or Grand Funk Aleroad tomorrow?

    Guess its Snicklefritz.

Snicklefritz is a Belgian-style strong pale ale, spiced with cardomom, ginger, juniper berries and coriander, along with lemon, orange, grapefruit and tangerine zests. After fermentation, the already complex concoction is aged on oak cubes to add one more layer of flavor. It's an overly complex recipe that produces an outstanding beer. We have 8 cases to sell of this beer today, starting at 4 PM, for $15 a bottle (limit 2 per person).

Not true, we intended for it to be a sour beer. If you look back to our 2011 Reserve Society offerings (eMailed on Oct. 29, 2010), you'll see a mention to Trois Poules Français as being "Base of Three French Hens soured and 100% barrel aged with Syrah grapes added." The beer was released about 13 months later in 2011.

Also, I'm not sure which ex-brewer you're speaking of, but it's hard to tell who brewed The Wanderer given it is a blend of two beers. A lot of folks are responsible for the outcome of all of our beers, so I hope there isn't someone out there claiming responsibility for beers Wanderer / Bottleworks XII.

    Cheers,
    Patrick

No worries, and I hope I didn't come across as angry. Just wanted to set the record straight.

    Cheers,

it was on Twitter only for some reason.

"You might want to be here for this bottle, so here's an easy hint"

Though as easy as it claims to be, I'm drawing a blank on this clue. Barrel aged papier?

Had a 4 oz of Fruet at the tasting room on Saturday night. That blew my socks off. WOW what a great beer! Ended up taking home 2 bottles of Bois and 1 bottle of Melange 3. I wished Fruet was for sale.

Was just in, BA Cuir didn't go as fast as I would have thought. I tried the anniversary flight (quite the experience) and Fruet was the best one of the whole flight IMO.
