Given the chance that I’ll be too hungover to remember the EB sale on Sunday, it would be a real solid if BL brought a nice keg of Fundamental Beer Geek...

Has the beer list then released yet? Can somebody please post it for me. Looking for the other breweries lists, not bruery

If you came to my house and saw the 52 cubic feet of cold storage and 30+ cases sitting warm you would understand my excitement. Wanna come to NC and drink some beers with me?

If that last part is true I hope to whichever god you pray to that you stub your toe monthly on your coffee table.

Dropped by the TR earlier today to pickup and grab a couple tasters and asked. Was told they won't have one for the rest of the breweries but, then also told it would be on the map given out tomorrow morning.

I asked why there wasn't any BT on the pour list and was told there will be but, then they changed it and said Tuesday variants which, could just mean the SHIT offerings.

    Was very Orwellian of them.

I don't wish actual violence, but I do love me some creative aggressive mildness.

Still no beer list. Pretty big oversight in my opinion. I'm definitely not happy about having to walk in blind.

Yeah, no beer list is pretty disappointing. Half the fun leading up to any festival is geeking out and making a list of must haves and combing through untappd or wherever to read descriptions prior to tasting.

    Hey all, happy anniversary!

Looks like we listed the beers listed on our Untappd venue page (at least what’s from our guest brewers): https://untappd.com/v/the-bruery/308416

See you in a few hours.

    Cheers,

Not a single Black Tuesday variant on the list (SHIT doesn’t count IMO). Am I the only one genuinely disappointed by that?

Wasn't there a lot of BT blends last year? Was hoping for that no bake cheesecake appearance. Sad face.

I prefer to wait a couple weeks to avoid the crowds bc im a 34 year old geriatric curmudgeon that hates people and thinks everyone is inconsiderate and out to get me. That may sound sarcastic but its true! I usually wait to see the bigger movies

I’m enjoying myself, but thought for next year: if Bruery lets a brewery be a HS exclusive pour, make them bring enough for more than 12 people...

Just left and had an awesome time. I had multiple pours of just about everything I wanted. The sleeper brewery for me was Orpheus and wow all of their beers were great! Also my first time trying mead and superstition was delicious, so jammy in all the right ways. Overall I waited max 3 minutes and top tier beers were pouring left and right. If you waited for a few select breweries you likely had a different experience but to each their own. The food and coffee were great, I spent minimal time in that area so not a lot to add. I never waited for a restroom so props there.

Tldr: Amazing beers, festival was bomb, post the list earlier please.

I’m not a fan of their marketing tactics but Three Chiefs’ Nana’s was so delicious. Island Cake wasn’t worth the wait but still good. Had repeat pours of cellad Mas and glad I got out a mag pour of Homage Chat Flou. Still missed on Side Project though. Wasn’t a fan of the tacos, but maybe I’m too Mexican and would prefer a Taquero.

Let me preface this by saying that the Yeti backpack was a thoroughly frivolous purchase that I regretted as I was doing it:

I think I speak for all four of us who bought one when I say “even if you think it’s a stupid thing, you are very welcome to shut the fuck up about someone else buying something with their money”.

    Good festival! ‘Twas fun!

Went to the bathroom an hour into the festival and heard a guy puking next to me. When he came
Out he was wearing the Yeti cooler. You have that memory to fight against that isn’t about money. Please change my mind.

I've been going to the last few bruery anniversary's and this was by far the best. Love that they opened it up.When brewerys like monkish and great notion have no lines 2 hours into the festival you know its a good festival.I love that they spread out the food so I was actually able to eat this time.Food was good to help sober up a bit, nothing great but still good. Overall a great time as always with the bruery. Enjoyed how much space there was this year.

So a counter point, this is a non-issue for me. Plenty of Old Ale variants. And SHIT is a very good beer that often gets overlooked due to its bigger brother. I personally had no issue with the beers The Bruery poured today.

But BT is their flagship beer... and leaving it out seemed pretty f*cked up,

Seriously, if you haven’t seen it by now, you have no right to complain:

    1. Thor dies
    2. Thanos takes over
    3. He makes Ryan Dick president of Earth.
    4. For some reason, Kirk Cameron has a problem with this and decides to ask Red Skull for a stone.
    5. Kirk Cameron, feeling defeated, gets stoned.
    6. Iron Man Dies... because for some reason, his suit is made out of aluminum.
    7. Patrick Rue gets Both Red Skull and Thanos drunk on BT Grand Reserve.
    -and-
    8. With a snap of his finger, Patrick Rue gets rid of the crappy 50% of breweries in the world, including everything from AB-InBev, MillerCoors, and Heineken... and Finally;
    9. Waldo’s special becomes an Offshoot Beer, proving they care about more than just being another Monkish.

This is the view of a spoiler.

I personally don't care and have no interest in seeing it.

But have already encountered multiple people that have a very negative opinion of this thread be because of this.

I do find it hard to understand how ruining other people's experiences is a positive thing, but if that's your thing go for it
