It's an awful beer and people have awful taste. Where's the Humulus Lager?

Seriously, I am extremely surprised it was only canned once, which sold out very quickly that time too.

I found a can locally. It's definitely another one of those "I get what you were going for" beers. It's creamy and has some peanut flavor. But, it's just not what I want in a beer. Didn't Jeni's do a Xocoveza flavored Ice Cream? Maybe it's better to make a beer inspired ice cream instead of the other way around.

I'm guessing because it's something that is getting distro it has to appeal to people that think that most beer with adjuncts is too sweet so the flavors have to be subtle instead of overpowering.

Also, there's no commas in that sentence.

Seems simple to me, it sold out and it gave people something to get angry about... bakery was the same way when it initially sold out... people were so mad, even as Bruery set aside more allocations for members and promised to have a second batch out quick

I still have cans from September and my LBS has cans from December. I've not seen any others dated later. Did you see the canning dates on the can?

It was my understanding that Bakery was going to be one of those rotating styles. First we got Coconut Macaroons. Next will be Banana Bread. And so on. Kind of like Android updates, but tastier.

So in the era of desert beers, we are actually surprised that a beer inspired by ice cream, with ice cream cones on the can is popular?

Icky Thump is available on the website right now for any members that got shut out earlier.

Maybe nobody got shut out. When I looked earlier this week ( after the onsale time, it showed as sold out.

I don't look for reasons to get mad on here. It's crazy to pay to be in a club and then not be given the opportunity to buy the beer. It sold out in less than a day, then we were told the only place to get it is a Whole Foods. It's equally as crazy to me, to not be able to buy a single beer from your club the entire first month of the year. I could see one or two not being ready, but we had zero. That's like buying season tickets, then being told the team is going to take a month off from playing.

All season tickets do include months of the team taking off from playing. :grimacing:

Sorry to see the Tugboat coffee beans sell out so quickly, wouldn't have minded getting a bag of those.

Looks like there is onsite purchases from the tasting room. Maybe there will be some available next week when I do a pickup.

I think these are the same beans direct. $16 for 12oz and $5 shipping which is cheaper than we got in allocations. Packaging might be the only difference

Those sold out like right away on Wednesday. I grabbed one at the tasting room yesterday, looked like they still had quite a few at the time....

    I'm a ticker, therefore I want it.

Also, moved some White Chocolate Chunk to the front of the queue since there were rumors of infection. My bottles were at room temp/ambient temp since being picked up and the bottle I'm drinking now tastes fantastic.

I'm randomly curious by your first in/first out process. If you bought three bottles of a given beer, will you drink all of them consecutively before moving on to the next? Or is it more that you work through everything from a full calendar year in random order and then move to the next year?

Do you make exceptions for things that you think might be better fresh?
